Guest Rob
All I can say is that this is terrible. I'm sure going through court would make this ordeal worse for the boy, but the girls do deserve the punishment. It does make a bit of sense why the family isn't taking action. Nomrombom
There's probably a double standards thread every other day on /b/. It's the same as adults - if a woman can slap a man in public and not face consequences, he can do the same. Oh wait - he can't, because that's abusive and horrible. Lose No Hope
So they will get a slap on the wrist, a stern "Never do that again," and lose their iphones and facebook for a day. If it was boys doing that to a girl, it would be multiple charges against them and most likely months/years in juvy. Furah
My only question is why did this never happen to me when I was 11?Closest I got to that was two girls took my shirt off me when I was like 14-15. Too bad they ended up fighting before it turned into an awesome threesome. Oh god that would have been a great way to pop the cherry. Orpheus
They should be charged but they won't, as it's purile childish bullying. I'd rather they get executed or have the same done to them though, it's disrespectful and disgusting. And the parents too, they probably failed somewhere to let it get this terrible. They're not human beings, they don't deserve anything. That said, if the video is still on that phone, by all means put a charge down for possession of child pornography. On all three of them. And women are disgusting creatures at times. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER. tripsis
Geeze... what kind of kids are these. It's pretty disgusting that they would do something like this. Honestly if I were that boy and could actually understand what "pressing charges" meant at that age, I'd be pissed at my mom for not doing it. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

No need to get anybody executed here, it's just a case of bullying. I agree that not getting any form of punishment is bad, but it's not that grave of a situation. tripsis
While I certainly agree that they don't need to be executed or anything, I think it's more than not understanding the "consequences of their actions" or that "it's illegal." It takes a cruel, messed up person to want to do this to a poor 11 year old boy (or anyone, for that matter) just for fun. I don't think most people need to be told that this is illegal, etc. to know that it's morally wrong and downright cruel. I don't know if those kids missed out on good parenting or what, but they're messed up. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

Also, humans are disgusting creatures at times. men do horrible stuff as much as women do. Maybe it's not that grave, and when you get down to it, it is a case of bullying. One that needs to see those girls punished. I don't care how they get punished. Yeah, humans make mistakes, but these... things did it on purpose. They uploaded that video consciously, knowing full well that the video would be public for all to see if they found it. I never excluded men from being disgusting creatures at times. You have to know what you're doing to upload a video, it's not some action you do unconsciously. They might not understand how far-reaching the consequences of such an action are, but what they did is unforgivable. It's completely wrong by any stretch of the meaning. Morals don't even come into play here, that video has shown nothing more than a complete lack of respect for others. I couldn't even watch most of it. I have my own reasons for being so irritated at this matter. For the sake of not releasing suppressed rage, let's just leave it at that. And as for doing this just for fun? There's a very specific trope for that, for those kinds of monsters who find this enjoyable. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. Napalm
Well, it was an understatement on my part to say it was "just a case of bullying". I agree that what they did is completely wrong, and that it's possible, if not probable, that it will scar the kid for a good chunk of his life. Maybe it's just that when I look back at when I was 13, I can see now that I did things that, of course didn't come even close to being as grave as this, but still hurt some people. And maybe it's just me, but at that age it's hard to tell just how much you are hurting others. Obviously this is not a justification for what they did. I don't know how the american legal system deals with people of that age, but it's clearly not something that can be left on the hands of the parents. tl;dr: I mostly agree with you, but felt I had to say something when you said "they are not human beings". If anything, they are too human.
Mirror
Yes, there is inequality when it comes to the law. How do you think Celebs get off so easily in comparison with average joe doing the same law breaking? A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
