Tormented Wriaths

I was looking at the Tormented Wraith Guide, and it looked fairly rewarding, but not particularly hard. I then realized I had to have completed Summer's End to enter. So I looked at the quest guide for that, and I have everything but the lvl 55 Prayer req. I then also noticed that it takes lvl 80 defense to actually enter the Tormented Wraiths Lair. So, I was wondering whether it would be worth it to get those stats to do that. Also, do you think I could do the Tormented Wraith, or would I die too soon? I can get prayer pots, and I have Protect from Melee, so I figured I could do it. I also wondered if other players could attack me in the spirit world. When I did The Spirit of Summer, the wilderness was still safe. I don't really want to take the risk of doing Summer's End, and fighting the Tormented Wraith if a Player could just easily come in and PK me. Thanks!

Agreeing with the above posters, but if you really MUST i will list a few pros for killing them...

Very little competition.

High drop rate of blue charms for better pouches

Pretty afkable with your sound turned up.

With just one drop of planks you profit on the trip, no matter how many ppots you bring.

Relatively low requirements.

Although from my experience I have killed well over 1k of them. and still 0 elixers ever, and maybe 1-2 spirit shields. Their drops although profitable if you stay long enough, not worthwhile, and poor xp.

EDIT: I just looked at OP stats, that's a definite no go. I pot with extremes and kill them pretty quickly.... usually get about 100 kills a trip with a few extra ppot drops but You'd probably only get in about 50ish.... Definitely raise your cb stats and make some money. slayer is highly suggested. Then if you still feel the need to try them out, have about 85+ in all melees and go for it.

Tormented Wraiths are fun to kill, from my past experience. I would last around 2-3 hours since they would drop prayer potions sometimes since I would be using protect from melee. Good profit to be made from the oak planks, death/blood runes and the iron ores. The black armour, I'd just hilach them. Only gotten a Spirit Shield from them.

If its safe, I'm not sure. When I used to travel to the Dark Knights Fortress, I didn't meet any players on the way which was quite relieving. We should see if the Spirit Realm with the Tormented Wraith is pk-able though, just to be safe.

Well, it looks like I won't be bothering with it for a while. Thanks for your advice though guys!

I do still want to know this, even though I won't be doing it for a while, if at all.

It's not worth it. You would be far better off at dragons, revs, or even the dwogres.

PM me in game anytime

It's a lot easier then that for an idiot to sound smart on the internet.

That's exactly what you're doing right now... just saying.
