Nomrombom
Stats are in sig. I have Bunyip, EE, ancients, cannon. Current setup is barrows top, dlegs, neitz, glory, whip, ddef, barrows gloves. ~16.5m cash. Not buying a fury or zerker, so don't mention them please. Any suggestions in the way of gaining cash through monster killing? Any places where bunyip is useful? Please leave out slayer from all answers, unless it's a suggestion to kill a slayer monster in particular (dust devils for example). Thanks. Cheat
You are going to be overwhelmingly suggested to kill green dragons and to be honest I think it is the best option. Your refusal to buy a zerker and fury seems odd however a odd decision in the end the 16mil you will spend that will be able to increase your money making from killing the +8 strength will make a good difference in DPS and profit per hour - remember you can resell these for whatever your going to spend this money on. Nomrombom
Not buying a fury or zerker, so don't mention them please. Thank you for the reply, but as I said, I'm not buying either. Green dragons being in the Chaos Tunnels? Any particular method, use bots to my advantage or avoid them? PM me for fitocracy invite
Kimberly
The original question should be answered before alternatives are given. i.e. If a user says they are woodcutting to make money and ask where the best place to cut yews is, their question should be answered before alternative money-making methods (killing frost dragons, monster hunting, etc.) are given. If the user clearly states in their first post that they do not want any alternatives, then they should not be posted at all. Taken from our Help & Advice Posting Guidelines. Please don't post solely to bait the user and if you do intend to give advice, make it the main point of your post please--tacking on a half-baked piece of advice to cover over something inflammatory will not help the situation. If someone wishes to go about things in a certain way that is their choice. PM me if you have any questions instead of derailing the thread, thanks :)
My_Eggs
Okay, kill green dragons in the chaos tunnels. You'll have to compete with the bots, but you'll just have to deal with it. One way you could get an uper hand on them would be to buy a fury and berserker ring (they'll be using a glory and probably ring of life). Remember, you can always sell the fury and berserker ring back in the G.E. when you're done with them. There's no point in crippling yourself when you have the money to buy the best gear you can. I feel it is fine to suggest buying those two things because I have answered his question, there for we should be able to post alternatives now right? 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
Kimberly
I feel it is fine to suggest buying those two things because I have answered his question, there for we should be able to post alternatives now right? Alternatives are okay to post so long as the TC has not specified otherwise. Since in this case, the TC has asked for no alternatives for his neck/ring slots, it would not be acceptable to post JUST that. In the case of your post, it is answering another question by the TC ("Any particular method, use bots to my advantage or avoid them? ") your post is alright but I do not recommend belaboring that point. I hope this is more clear for you, but if not you or anyone else who is confused about H&A's guidelines are welcome to contact me privately. :)
AresArtemis
This guy wants to make a road trip with a fiat panda, does not want to buy a mercedes and is now asking how to reach a desert tropical paradise. That's not possible with a fiat panda because once you reach it, it's full with other tourist who arrived there way earlier. My advice: go aviansies (or green dragons)
Cheat
At your combat stats and sub-par gear you will not be able to effectively compete with the green dragon bots. You can try cannoning them in the west wilderness on a german world but it's still likely it will be busy. Because of your lack of gear to give you an advantage over the bots I would suggest barrows or killing men in edgeville. Mach_One
Killing Warped Tortoises are always good cash. I don't know if it's worth is to cannon them anymore but I would estimate the cash/hr to be upwards of 800k.
mlskid
You could try killing any number of things with those stats... Dragons (Highly botted though), err... Yeah. Pretty much that with those stats. In another note, you could slay to get some nice experience and a change of scenery every once in a while... I highly reccommend you do this, or some other form of raising your stats before seriously considering making money through killing NPC's. Slayer is the best all around experience in my opinion, and would give you a good handle on a possible choice of monster that you enjoyed killing the most. Also note that when you're on task, you should think outside the box, and try different monsters that count for the task given. While slaying you could also do something on the side, such as make some daily runs, or herb runs every once in a while. They add up after a while. Good luck. dogfever
For green drags I cannoned in the Rev Dungeon. No bots there. About three mins plus running to fill an invent and terrorbird. If you go CT I saw a guy there in best range gear. Standing in the centre and just going for a big hit on each one. Seemed to work. The place is swarming with bots.
