Crazykid1321
Frost Dragons are becoming very crowded, and aren't quite the moneymaker they previously were. In regards to my stats, do you guys know of the best consistent moneymakers in RuneScape? If you can, may you guys list the moneymaker methods with the average GP/HR they yield? I don't have much start up cash, my account barely amounts to 100m GP in Bank value, so what can I do to improve this? Thank-you,Crazykid
Mini_Spawn
I've heard grenwalls (I believe they req 77 hunter) are about 1.5m/hr. I'd give that a shot (: It's just a few levels away. I pvm sometimes for money. It's inconsistent but it can provide some good income. Plus I find it helpful to change the playerbase who are you in contact with from time to time, it shifts your goals around and creates an account that can be more easily maxed (: (ie i used to hate dungeoneering, I found a few friends who did it and now im 100 dunge)

Also you need scentless potions from HH, 69 summoning, and a bonecrusher. On top of that its constant micromanagement of traps. Really I don't see why making money is a chore, farming herbs, investing into MTK, doing your dailies, and flipping will bring in minimum 20 mil a week. Also, having a high leveled friend doesn't make his advice good, which it isn't. At 77 grenwalls catch rate is so obsenely low you're better off picking mort myre fungi, hell camping the ranarr spawn in the edgeville resource dungeon would probably be better. Defiant36
I'm pretty much in the same boat you are, I have no idea how to make good money. I just flip when my dung team isnt on and do farm runs every now and then. I make like 5-10m per day normally. Check out my RS streaming channel! At the first sentence... I have 99 prayer and I can assure you that I didn't bury 1.2m regular bones to get it. I am perfectly good at making money, however with frost dragon bones down I am looking to find alternative methods. Furthermore, gathering runes and equipment etc to do a farm run is infact a hassle. My dislike of farming doesn't mean that I'm hopeless at making money. At the second sentence... It doesn't make it good but it makes the advice worth considering. I don't particularly appreciate the flaming. I did say in my post that I don't have the level to do it but that I'd heard it was good. There wasn't much of a chance of me knowing it had a slow catch rate- nor did I imply that it was something the OP MUST do, it was simply something to look into. LitterBug
Taking items out of your bank is a chore?wutnao?Farm runs are an insanely great way to make money. Rather then suggest methods that you don't know about or haven't done why not suggest methods you've used before? At least that way, you know for a fact it works - and you can tell them specifically what to do.Since 99 prayer sure did cost a pretty penny - indulge us in the way you've earned money to get that level. Crafting approx 100k blood runes Frost dragons Buying santa for 20m and blue hween for 20, selling both for well over 100m approx 60-80 slayer picking up nearly every drop 88-98 fishing on rocktails Level 3/elite cluescroll farming 99 woodcutting on yews + 10k magic logs after 99. Various drops pvm'ing. 2 tassets, 2 sara hilts, bandos chestplate, 2 bandos hilts, a zamorakian spear + hilt, sara sword, armadyl chainskirt, and multiples of every dks drop. Most duo'd/lootshared. however... The runecrafting is not nearly as profitable as it once was, frost dragons are the same, making 200m off of my rares cannot be repeated, picking up every slayer drop is inefficient- I did this to build a solid cash base for my account a long time ago, rocktails are fairly slow money, as is woodcutting. Clue scroll farming/pvm are well known money making methods that as a high level I'd think the OP would be informed of. They're also fairly inconsistent money makers with no guaranteed profit, so i suggested what was suggested to me as being approx 1.5m gp/hr. My dislike of farming doesn't mean that I'm hopeless at making money. Gathering runes/equip etc takes less than a minutes. Disliking 5 minutes of effort for 200 k profit or more is disliking one of the lowest effort and highest profit yielding money making methods in game. If you're so good at making money in ways that surpass that then why post ones you arent sure about? Especially seeing as this isn't your thread and you're high-jacking it. At the second sentence... transcript80
If you already have 99 heblore and 95 prayer, combat 99s AND 100M, why do you worry about money? How did you get the 100M leftover in the first place? Also, if you don't want to do farm runs (little effors for a lot of money) what else is good enough? With your levels, I think all boss hunting should be possible. I have no experience in this, but most high-levelled player can't be wrong.... Other data was removed when acoount got hacked... How much cash does Nex-ing bring and who are reliable people to go Nex-ing with? Also, the thing is, I don't really have much cash to buy supplies for Nex. JPMC Mate
You guys are crazy. If 100M is crap, what isn't, lol...? Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous. Quyneax
I'd say 100m with all buyables done is alright, but 500m+ starts to mean something for maxed players. Of course if you have lower stats, lower wealth would be considered a good bank. Turtles
You guys are crazy. If 100M is crap, what isn't, lol...? I was thinking the same thing lol. My bank's a little under halfway to the 100M mark at the moment, but I would consider myself pretty well off seeing as I can buy everything that I really want anyway. So long as I can afford welfare cw gear I'm happy. =p As to the OT.. I don't know any really high gp/hour methods, but I find personally that the best way to make money is to do it slowly through lots of different methods, so the odd herb run, daily shop run, kingdom and picking up monster drops among other things; it's less boring that way. Barrows is probably my favourite money maker at the moment at ~500k/hour without any luck on barrows pieces, and then there is always that occasional high value item to keep you interested. Cabbage! Troll Bomber
I tend to get burnt out when I grind one particular money maker for such a long time, so I usually mix it up and that treats me pretty well. Torstol with SOL and jujus is incredible. I understand how it can seem frustrating to start doing something (in your case, herb runs), but after you do, you'll be glad you did. Took me forever to take the time to collect juju farm pots, and go on my tree runs because they seem too much of a hassle. However now that I've done it, and I can see how good the profits are, I wish I would have done it earlier. Sometimes I do nooby money makers as well. Yesterday I got bored so I picked fungi for 2-3 hours and sold about 2k fungi for 2.2M. Sure, it's not the greatest money ever, but I try to keep myself busy instead of just sitting in a bank thinking of what to do next. I also chop mahogs in my free time when I afk, so I used a bunch of special logs to make about 500 free planks. free 1M. Just find little things like that, plus MTK and your dailies, and money will fly in pretty fast.
Hav0c0wnz
bro, im just like you, best money for us is solo 2.5 dks(with cannon for pime) and nex, if u dont have supplies for arma+spectral for nex, then u can do void deflector teams, i rake in about 4m/hour at dks assusming a get a drop or two a trip, and nex, spent maybe 5 hours there, gotten a 51m t plate split and 7m virtus good split. Esb
SlayerVery enjoyable, you can aft (=away from tab e.g. read tip.it forums!) during almost every task. Not very fast money if you start counting as gp/h, but when you do it like 1m exp, you gain a nice amount of GPs. I use turmoil every task myself, but still make very good profits as p pots are on so low price at the moment. Dagannoth KingsWho wouldn't do DKs? Easy money if you like it. You can go solo maging, solo tribriding, solo hybriding... Duoing, however you like it. You seem to have access to pack yak, which makes it even more profitable (banking hides and bones). If you happen to get these in slayer task, soloing them all is very easy. Godwars DungeonWell, do I even need to say why? With 100m, you can get good arma gear. Voids with acp and deflector. :P Also, bandos gear doesn't cost alot. You can try soloing bandos as you might have chaotic kiteshield. IAmCyanide
Slayer is a very good method to get money, but seeing as prices are low i wouldn't do it 24/7 at the moment. Farming is good for herbs, papaya and cactus spines. Also you could try bosses in GWD. Also im pretty sure if you go on the German servers there are less people at Frost dragons. not 100% sure though because i cant check for myself at the moment.
