Nomrombom
Nothing in Runescape pisses me off more than Har'lakk the Riftsplitter. Let's see here... A strong magic attack that drains prayer, a melee attack, stacking damage flame portal, stacking damage poison, stacking reduced stats portal, a very strong double melee attack which prevents protection prayers, medium HP, high defense... EVERY other boss I have done/can do is FUN. Lexicus is a silly boss, To'kash is pretty easy and interesting, Rammernaut is funny and not hard, Behemoth is easy, Bulwark is tough but fun, Stomp is super easy and an interesting concept, Plane Freezer has no defence, Astea is easy, Geomancer is a joke, Skeletal horde is easy and fun, Cursebearer is easy, Sagittare is fun and has low defense, Icy Bones is super easy, Icefiend is easy. No other boss gives me such headaches, even when I have Rammernaut charging every turn. Please, Har'Lakk, just die. Go curl up in a hole and DIE. Sy_Accursed
Really? You'll hater balak(sp?) then. Plus Harlak: melee + mage protect + move out of portals and (if possible) get him in them = easy kill. Balak = absolutely get pwned even with the best tactics ever Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
LitterBug
Don't stand in the portals? Shouldn't be too much of a problem really. You'll have loads of fun later on when Dg-ing :D
Sy_Accursed
my god my spelling was awful in that post; i think i may give up for the day on being remotely coherent. Nomrombom
I do move out of the portals. I know how to fight him, it's just horribly frustrating. PM me for fitocracy invite
Evil_Sabre
He's extremely weak to mage, it shouldn't take long for him to die if everyone in the party is maging. If you're melleing him then you're spending 3x the time killing him than you should be.

Saunamajuri
I'm also soloing :mellow:I have always soloed and he's one of the easier bosses. "An Amateur practices until he can get it right. The Runar
Runewright is the hardest boss IMO. Not the most annoying one though; that would be Stomp (I always solo, which makes it even harder). Harlakk is easy. The Runar's (OSRS) DIY blog - most viewed Blogscape blog ever! Contract? /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
Nomrombom
I find Stomp easy. He's always low leveled, so he doesn't do much damage, and if you can see that the rocks will land in front of one of the lodestones, you can stand under it and take the damage in return for having both lodestones open. Will H
There are far more unfair bosses out there. Bal'lak the Pummeler, Shadow-Forger Ihlakhizan, Skeletal Trio... those are the bosses you'll really hate. Har'lakk's one of those 'medium' bosses. It's true that there aren't really any techniques that completely avoid damage from attacks, short of the hit-and-run gatestoning (which usually takes longer than it's worth), but at the same time, what he can land on you shouldn't be that much of a problem. ~ W ~

Oh god. Hate Bal'lak and Shadow-Forger. -_- (Haven't run into Trio yet.) All_Is_Great
If you have lots of food for Ballak, it shouldn't be much of a problem. Skele trio is brutal though, especially if they pile you... yikes And shadowforger can be such an [wagon] sometimes.
Youmu
If you think Har'Lakk is this hard on you, wait till you meet some of the bosses on occults... Heck, Har'Lakk isn't even the boss that does the most damage in furnished, if you use melee of course. Dragonlordjl
Forger and Trio are the most BS bosses. Both of them have potential to kill you in a single turn if you get unlucky. In fact, Trio is generally regarded as the worst boss in DG because of the time it takes to kill it and the KO potential it has.

Youmu
Trio takes a lot less time than Kal'Ger.It also has a much much higher level requirement than Trio. Speaking of Trio, I've asked people I know and they say it's a fairly easy boss. In turn though they say that Yk'Lagor is the hardest occult boss, but I dunno.
