Well you have to have something that separates small-time clans from the big guns. At least that's how they're thinking if I'm following it right.

My clan has ALMOST enough people for tier 6...

But did I read right that they would ALL have to visit in order to maintain that tier 6?


There's a set number of how many have to visit per week minimum to maintain a certain tier. For Tier 7, it's 50 people (with leeway for a bit below 50) per week to maintain it, and the number req . decreases from Tier 7. Basically, unless your clan's membership numbers equal the minimum requirement for upkeep, they won't all have to visit to maintain that tier. This number changes of course. As a rule, if you have fifty people and you're maintaining a Tier 7 piece, all fifty people have to visit weekly (give or take a few for leeway). If you have sixty people in a clan, that's ten people who don't have to visit the citadel weekly to maintain that tier -- but the other fifty members have to. There's even a list that shows the # reqs. in the blog if you want it. Just find out the tier you want, and see if you have enough people to maintain it.

However, players should be getting slightly less experience in the citadels than they would earn on the surface (we don't want citadels to be the new place to train!).

Why not? If it allows me to better enjoy the game I believe I should be able to do so.

The tapestry style for the first half of the trailer is rather neat.

What I'm wondering is if this is how Tier 7 looks like.


Knowing them it's probably the large shot of the citadel at the end.

Anyway, I'm actually kind of impressed. Sadly I doubt it'd have enough terraform capabilities to keep my interest, though.

Tip.it should make a clan. :) I'm sure we can get the numbers for tier 7. Shame you can't be in two clans at once, though.

The quartermaster can give out clan rings to players who've done a fair amount of work for their clan that week - these can then be charged in any of the Citadel's skill plots and provide a 1.5x bonus for an amount of experience that is determined by your level in that skill and the tier of that skill plot.

Isnt this ^ super easy to abuse.

Let`s say my brother makes a clan, and I join his clan and he gives me 1.5x bonus the whole time... :P?

Isn't the quartermaster an NPC at the Clan Camp?

EDIT: I suppose not, but maybe it'll be a new NPC instead of a player.

Anyone notice the concept art (besides that they look pretty amazing), that they had a DAY and NIGHT pictures? So are the clan citadels going to follow the day and night "times"? If so, I hope they do this with all of RuneScape.
