opinns
I'm thinking of getting 200m xp in combat skills, currently around 40m xp in each. My question to you all is would it be faster to train each one separate or using controlled (shared xp)? Thanks.
nightshade53
You might get disheartened with training on controlled. I would do them one at a time personally

Been doing slayer last few days on controlled and hardly gotten any combat xp it seems like.
nightshade53
I also can't see the satisfaction in this. 480m combat XP will take a year at least grinding away. I know quite a few people have already done this, but I really can't see how this would enhance your quality of life. If this is the only thing left in runescape to 'complete', then maybe find a new game/play real life for a bit.
xpx
as far as i'm aware, using separate styles is best. This, ofcource, assumes you use a chaotic rapier(with whip, controlled would be better). bedman
You can't train controlled with rapier so go with seperate styles. A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
Quyneax
You can't train controlled with rapier so go with seperate styles. This covers it :P. If you want to train with a whip or cls on stab badly, so be it, but it'll be a lot faster to use a rapier. Fools_Taco
This piece of information you ask really means nothing when you look at your goal as a whole. Controled exp or not its the same speed, the perception problem is in your head. What you should really be asking is... Hey pro runescape players, the ones with a few skills 200m, what did you do WHILE YOU WERE PLAYING RUNESCAPE to not want to slit your wrists while playing runescape. The hurdle isn't what method to train, its how to not go crazy while training. I have to wear special rings because this game has damaged my wrist and fingers.
