New Myreque quest. HECK YESSSSS!!!!

Aside from that this is a LONG overdue month... updates that should have just been sprinkled in with other updates that are now becoming a main update.... But I can't complain. I enjoy the burgh de rott ramble when i went for lumberjack and stuff, but I'm especially going to love going with another character with quest cape full void elite and a whip. haha. That sounds so cool if they do let us customize a person like that.

I agree with above poster too.

Looks like this might be the best month in a long while if they manage to not mess up Branches of Darkmeyer like SITW.

So we walk in on the head vampire sleeping behind the blister tree, we teleport eva in with her swords and....

lmao, I really wouldn't put it past them.

Hopefully the quest is good, will have to see though.

Will be interesting to see what those new hybrid armours are, I'm surprised no one's made a joke about them being additional Dungeoneering rewards though

I'm looking forward to the Myreque quest and the Temple Trekking update. Jagex can apparently read my mind, because I was writing up an article for MMO Fallout on old, unused content and I included several Runescape mini-games including Temple Trekking...now I have to rewrite it.

Cool, breathe some life into the almost-dead Shades activity.

Robes are on my interest too.

why the slayer req for jad pet <_<

To stop people like you "buying" their way to a awesome pet. I think it's good, lets those with 99 slayer show their prowl, with a mini-Jad!

Sounds like a nice month all round.

Temple trek update might draw me ito getting lumberjack for my completionistic nature on costume room
Theif outfit and rc outfit sound nice (I guess 2.5% xp boost same as lumber and mine, suppose might sacrific 0.2% on rc outfit for lightness boots on zmi but still nice.)
Hope the new livid farm spells are nice
The teleport item alone from new myreque quest sounds awesome, teleporting to the barrows directly ftw even if only for penguin hunting lol

Also bet the specific spells added to lunar will just be the skill type ones and perhaps some teleports (Maybe trollheim given how many ppl wanted tht for lunar farming efficiency)
so low alch hi alch superheat bones to bananas bone to peaches. telegrab, enchants possible the weaken, entangle type spells too

^god forbid they get more than one thing

OT: Really looking forward to the new quest and the mini-game changes. Hopefully they'll continue doing that and bring life to other dead mini-games. Hybrid armor could be interesting but I don't really do combat anymore... And I can't wait for the new livid farm spells.

99 summoners already have pet dragons - I don't see the problem.

The level 85 armours sound interesting, if it's comparable to, say, the highest bonusus of Karil's + Ahrim's set combined, I can see the sets being very useful for some bosshunting (corp with both high melee and magic soak?).

Temple Trekking: I might get lumberjack, but I doubt it.

GE, graphics, music upgrades: always good to get more of the new trees :D.

Myreque quest: I sure hope it's better (longer, more annoying) than King of the Dwarves, Deadliest Catch and Salt in the Wound. A quest that isn't annoying (like Legend's if you forget the orb for your charge orb spell :P) doesn't feel as good to finish.

Livid spells: Oh Guthix no...

Necromancer robes, master runecrafter robes, shadow wraps: I'll be getting the last two probably, sound useful.

Jad pet: I'll try to get a spare fire cape next Jad task I get.

All in all this sounds like a good month :).

They better not make me start Livid farming from 0 again as I've unlocked the group venge :shame:

edit: And the jad pet... Not sure can I be bothered to go for the zeals, I have plenty of spare fire capes though.

I personally feel that this month isn't going to be that great in the end. Just a lot of spice towards old things, pets and such doesn't exactly sound my kind of a month.

Btw anyone else feels like that BTS is usually the best part of an event?

Master runecrafting robes?!? Finally! A reason to play GOP again. I hope they look as good as the standard runecrafting robes. <3:

New quest is the only thing I'm bothered about, wish they'd make more with higher requirements though.

There was a concept art on the BTS page ;) and it looks quite good.

I think August is going to be a good month imo.

Ever felt the grand exchange was too crowded?

No, but it looked rubbish, so this sounds pretty damn cool!

Everything sounding good so far?

Not necessarilyl, but I'd be happy to hear Mod Timbo grunting while I train agility  . All the same, I wish you'd said you did real magical spells to get the sound :P .

Morytania: meh, until they graphically update mort myre...I'll still think it's boring. Don't like that series, can't do the quest as I haven't got anywhere near finishing it. Nor do I have the stats, which frankly look very close to GM.

Edgeville: Yes! One of the most-used places in game (apart from GE) deserves a proper graphical makeover.

New RC robes: I hope you need to trade in all 3 old colours. Because if so, I'm pretty 'set'. Hopefully they provide a bigger RC boost in the minigame as well.

I'm not an efficienado.
