Raiouken
Let's consider the advantages and disadvantages. Advantages: - Much more runes, bolt racks- More exp Disadvantages: - Time wasted because Barrows item chance doesn't improve One could argue that you make up for the time wasted by getting more runes. I usually get a kill count of 12-15. Thoughts?

AHappySeeker
3 is optimal for maximum death runes. Any more and you'll increase the number of bloods that you get. Bolt racks are not worth it anymore. So yes, get 3 kills per run. No more, no less.

Depending on how lucky you get , you can end up without a single kc.Hunt the right chest to get in the tunnels, go towards the chest and just open it and tele out. Anyway, looking at the topic he most likely kills all 6 brothers so 3kc is right. barbwireboy3
Its pretty useful to get around 8 kc if your using ancients, reaally cuts down on the amount of runes you use.

AHappySeeker
Go to a site called Runescoop and read the barrows killcount research. The Tip.it guide explains nearly nothing, as usual.
Sy_Accursed
Go to a site called Runescoop and read the barrows killcount research. The Tip.it guide explains nearly nothing, as usual. runescoop is aweful; the research methods are flawed and sample sizes stupid. eg there's 1 guide where the sample was 4.5 dragons.tip.it may not list in-depth research data or specify which works out the most efficient, but it covers all the information you need to know to make an informed choice for yourself. And anything extra you wish to know is what this forum is here for. Sy_Accursed
Must've been a typo. No ring<Warrior<Zerker it was no typo it was backed up by the typical runescoop poorly collected data on samples of about 3 kills, if memory serves each rings data was drawn from a different number of kills on entirely different monsters with completely different setups aka it showed nothing at all about the rings themselves. Quyneax
The research used decent enough and similar gear, just no potions, which is ridiculous, also it was based on a sample of 30 minutes. Which means no ring did in fact kill 2 additional black dragons in the end on a total of 40. AHappySeeker
The barrows research is an exception. It's actually fairly solid and the results make sense, intuitively. The SS vs ZS for waterfiends is also solid.
Quyneax
SS vs Zs for waterfiends suffers from exactly the same problems as the berserker vs warrior ring research. He did 20 minute tests and more importantly, he used a stopwatch to count in-combat time (e.g. manually starting it when attacking a monster, ending it when it dies).
