Articultural
Wasn't sure where to post this, thought you might have wanted to know. :P You also missed out Castle wars armour/bracelets for damage boosts.
Tecmaster
Might be a rounding issue somewhere, I'll poke the crewbie who developed the calculator and ask him to take a look. :) Owner of the Quest Point Cape
Betterestcw
I also have found something to be wrong with the calculator. On an Ice strykewyrm slayer task with a fire cape and hexcrest/full slayer helmet while casting fire surge and using extreme magic pot/wolpertinger special, staff of light and arcane stream necklace my max hits have been 1105 damage. Just to let you guys know if you want to look into it. I was also wearing ahrims top and bottom, barrows gloves, unholy book and infinity boots, so I'm pretty sure the mage equipment that you wear also has an effect on the amount of damage you do. Speedyshel
Articultural, thanks for your submission. I went and did some specific testing on spells and found that with some rounding of spells, it was off by one. So, I've adjusted the rounding and it's now calculating correctly. Thanks for submitting the data to help me test that combo! Betterestcw, as for the strykewyrm task, I believe there's some additional static damage added into the formula when wearing a Fire cape. It's a matter of finding where in the equation this is added. I'll use your data and find this minor tweak. If you get more data you want me to cross check with the calc, submit it by all means :) We appreciate your submissions! I'll leave this open for now. - Speedyshel - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*
essiw
You seem to be missing the vecna skull in the calculator ;) http://sign.tip.it/1/2/79/260/essiw.png Retired item crew I would like to be credited as essiw at the website update & corrections forum. Articultural
Vecna skull/Magic focus scroll/Overload all give the same boost as Extreme Magic. Edit- Skull appears to be +6 not +7, I've never used one so assumed it was the same as the above. :P
brainymidget
Not a big issue, so wasn't gonna make a new topic, but one little thing I noticed. Whenever you change the spell, it resets your staff, but not the necklace. Should probably be consistent, so either reset one or both. And ya, as other's said, I hit significantly higher on ISW tasks than that says. All_Bogs
Sure, all feedback can go here. I don't think the staff should reset each time - probably a glitch caused after the calculator was made so you can no longer cast Miasmic spells without having Zuriel's equipped. The maximum hit for ISW tasks should be functioning properly soon.
Speedyshel
The spell select glitch has been fixed and the Magic focus scroll and Vecna skull have been added to the list of level boosters. The overload potion is essentially the same as the extreme magic boost, so it's been left off. The calculator should now correctly estimate the max damage with strykewyrms.Keep it mind that when estimating your max hit, the in-game splat indicating your max hit might occasionally read a point or two lower than the calc's estimation as the in-game splat can also vary by a few points. So if you see the in-game splat is different by a few points, don't be alarmed. - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*
