I have $120M in cash, and 6,300 snaps waiting to sell until after bxp weekend is announced, so that should give me about $180M cash, some of which will be used to buy infernal ashes, but I am thinking of buying a BCP while it is "cheap" How much better is it then my current set up of torags? Quyneax Posted August 19, 2011 Share Posted August 19, 2011 I'd say, get turmoil instead. Bandos is much better than Torags, but turmoil is better still. Of course if you have turmoil and money left, then sure, get Bandos. It's some 3-4% better than Torags offence-wise. If by trying solo gwd you mean getting Bandos drops yourself, I wouldn't recommend it. You don't have a chaotic weapon so your damage output will be 20% lower than other maxed peoples'. Ever since FT in Feb high price items like BCP and Tassets have dropped with very few going out of the game, yet more coming in every day through people going to Bandos GWD. Also loads of people I know have sold their BCP's (people with 99 Slayer and no real need to train it again) to buy supplies for BXPW which everyone is guessing will be announced in the BTS on September 1st. To the OP: I agree with Quyneax... Turmoil is amazing. And before you think of attempting Bandos, go get a chaotic for it. Makes your life so much easier (and this is coming from someone who HATED dungeoneering - just as Quy or Octarine etc...). If I were a betting man I'd say it'll go down a mil or 2 more before it rises again after the BXPW/BTS. Torva, pernix, virtus, Karil's, void, Ahrim's, Armadyl etc. all have their respective uses but in slayer, BCP reigns.
