Hello everyone!

Hello everybody and welcome to my blog! I have returned to the world of Runescape! I have a LOT to catch up on so I am making this blog to track my progress. Lets get started!

My name is Robert. I am a 25 year old male from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I currently work for US Bank on there Transaction Help Desk (my official job title is "Help Desk Specialist 2"). I have worked here for the past almost 3 years. Before US Bank I worked at my local Shop N Save (a grocery store) in the deli. I worked there for 2 years while going to college. I went to college (a technical trade school) where I earned my Associates in Science degree in Information Technology: Network Security and Computer Forensics. I am currently living with my girlfriend of 4 years in a pretty nice 2 bedroom apartment in Avalon Pennsylvania (right outside of Pittsburgh). In the next year or so I plan to start getting IT certifications and looking for a new job. I am going to start with the Network+ exam and go from there.If anyone wants to know more about me just ask and I will try my best to answer.

 

 

Now for what you all came here for. My Runescape goals and progress!

 

[spoiler=I should start by telling you a little bit about my Runescape history.]

I started playing Runescape in either late 2001 or early 2002. I started in RS Classic and moved to Runescape 2 (Now just Runescape and what most people are playing now). I had a blog on TIF back then but I have changed computers a few times and don't remember my log in credentials so I just created this account on here. I quit playing a few years back (sometime between 2004 and 2006). I just got bored with the game and didn't have time to play anymore. When I quit I sold everything in my bank that I could and dropped the rest of my items that I could not sell. I logged in a few times since I quit just to see how the game had changed and if there were any new skills. Every now and then I would buy something like a Halloween mask or a Santa Hat. Something rare and that I could afford. I would keep it for a few days or weeks then log back in and sell it again. One day I bought all of my armor back (I was free to play at this time) and a bunch of runes. I then tried to get 99 Firemaking and bought all the Maple logs that I would need to get that (as it is my favorite skill cape). That lasted about 1 hour until I got bored with it. I sold the remainder of my logs. After about a week or so I tried to get 99 Cooking. I bought the Lobsters to get it but never got around to starting to go for it and eventually sold the Lobsters. This basically brings us to present time.

 

 

 

I will not be playing every day and when I do play I am not going to be playing for very long (maybe 1-4 hours when I get on). I will at least try to be on every Wednesday (as that is the only consistent day that I am off work and I can play for a longer period of time). Training my combat skills through Slayer and Pest Control

(Getting an un-trimmed Constitution cape in the process [i will train Attack, Strength, and Defence to 98 in that order. Hopefully I will have 99 Constitution by then. If not, I should be close so I will just train Ranged until I get it. Then, I will train Attack, Strength, and Defence to 99 [in that order]].)

 

96 Herblore(I will be making Super Attack, Super Strength, Super Defence, Super Restore, Magic, Ranged, and Saradromin Brews until I can make Extremes. Then I will make all of my Super Attack, Super Strength, Super Defence, Ranged, and Magic potions into Extremes. I will then make Saradromin Brews and Super Restores until 96 and then make all of my Extremes into Overloads. I am going to buy all of the Herbs, 2nd ingredients, and Vials. [i will do some herb farming getting seeds from Slayer and MTK]).

It's 87 dungeoneering for two chaotics (2m xp @ level 80) but allowing for ring upgrades and a scroll of life you'll likely get your second at 88.

Got bored of Dungeoneering so I went to do some Pest Control. I now have 100 Void Knight Commendations and am 40K XP away from 90 Defence!

Got 250 Void Knight Commendations and bought my 1st piece of Void Knight armor! The top. Didn't get screen shots of them because I was kinda in a rush. That's pretty much all I got done today. Will possible do some dungeoneering tomorrow or Tuesday night but for now, I'm off to bed.

I have been working on getting more Pest Control points so I can get full Void. Definitely like Pest Control better than Dungeoneering. I am probably going to just camp at Pest Control until I have full Void. I also tried to play Mobilizing Armies the other day. I got through the tutorial just fine but I was not able to play a real game. There was only 1 Mobilizing Armies world that actually had people playing Mobilizing Armies but I could never get into a game. No one was playing Combat and that is the only one I can play right now. I am probably going to keep trying to get into Mobilizing Armies games durring the day when more people are playing. I will play that until I get rank 300 because that seems like it wil take the longest and be the hardest to accomplish.

I need to work towards eligibility for kingdom management. Seems like such a great money maker.

Edited my goals and play style. Gave up on Dungeoneering for now. I just can't seem to bring myself to train it. One day I will get back to it though. For now, I am canceling my Waterfiends task and moving on with slaying. I am also going to try to get my Herblore and Farming levels up. I am going to farm my own herbs to supply herblore. I am going to continue with MTK to get herbs, seeds, and some money. I will also be starting to do Barrows and Dagannoth King trips to fund my Farming and Herblore. I have never been to DKs so if anyone has any advice or if you are willing to take me on a trip or two I will greatly appreciate it!

 

I am also going for an un-trimmed Constitution cape. Hopefully I can get it by the time I achieve 98 Attack, 98 Strength, and 95 Defence. Read my current goals section for more information.

 

I will update the Progress bar pics and slayer assignments as soon as I get home tonight. The Draynor.net progeress bars wern't updating so I am going to use tip.it's instead.

Thanks for the reply! MTK is not that good of a money maker. I usually get about 1.2M a week out of it (that is starting with 1.5M in the coffers and refilling it to 1.5M every week [it only takes about 525K a week to refill])but with my new goals it is going to be a lot less. Doing Slayer, killing boss monsters like the Dagannoth Kings, Tormented Demons, and GWD bosses, and doing Barrows seem like better money makers, which is why I put them in my money making strategy (I did not include Tormented Demons because i have not done Wile Guthix Sleeps yet).
