ROTM is the only real content this month then but should be good by the sounds of it.

This.

So ya, looks like another decent month for RS, little content however, yet should be a decent month none the less. Though August was quite a nice though as I loved the trekking update, and as of yesterday I hear the quest was pretty amazing.

If Rotm is as good as wgs with rewards like tds, I really don't care what else comes out this month.

Also this.

Even though I am greedy and I could use a few hours of BXP to get closer to max cape lol.

The Branches of Darkmeyer official guide has been released. Can someone who has already completed the quest skim it to see exactly how useful and in-depth it really is? I'd do it myself, but I have a few quests to do before I can start it. :P

Disappointed that there's no mention of the new Slayer dungeon. :\

It does it is a reward from ROTM (but it doesn't mention slayer in it).

No proof that is the slayer dungeon, slayer dungeon could be in october updates.

But yeah rotm does have a new dungeon in rewards, so could be.

Looks like an excellent month all around, some decent minor stuff as well as the hopefully amazing ROTM quest.

Also, inb4 the exp lamps are physically huge rather than the exp rewards they give being large.

Even though there's only one update this month, I still bet many people will renew their memberships just for that quest. I am tempted to do so myself, even though for all intents and purposes I have permanently quit the game (I play a different MMORPG now).

I'm never excited for XP rewards of quests: those are boring and never efficient compared to grinding.

Much better are the less tanglible rewards: new areas, new moveing around options, new spells, new prayers etc etc.

First they came to fishing
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews
and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores
and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

WGS offered 400k XP -- I would assume that ROTM's "huge" experience lamps will offer at least that much.

The new prayer pot, seems like it'll slowly restore your prayer points over 5 minutes rather than the full amount immediately.

This could be useful for camping at dragons with bonecrusher and splitooth necklace(lvl 90 dung and prayer reward) wearing prosetlye and the new prayer aura?

I like to think of the Dark Bow like a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) - you get one shot and then you're screwed.

This. I'm what, the 3rd person to quote this post and agree with it?

The new prayer pots might be useful for slayer depending on how they work.

Glad I got the skills for this quest. Although in a way I did train for it, I got 77 agility because of the teaser.

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.

The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.

That is what I meant by "but it doesn't say slayer in it" ;)

But seriously there is little content this month apart from ROTM (which I am far from able to do yet).
I am going to laugh if the "prayer pot" update is one update without adding graphics updates or something like that...
Then Bonus XP is no content,
Classic reopening ok, guess I log in on my new account to be never there again, not to mention they forgot to mention why it is the last time.
ROTM, great but that being the only great thing this month and it will take a long while before I can do it.
New Loyalty Rewards, not real content just bonus items imo.

I was hoping to see at least something worthwhile next to ROTM guess I have to wait a month for that :P

I wouldn't care if ROTM was the only update this month. It'll redeem the rest.

Will be interesting. Not a whole lot of surprises this month though, is it? I'm quite content though, I just wish that ROTM came out on my birthday week haha! Though I guess when that's the only real concern you have about an update month, you can't complain.

But if it gets pushed back to October...

I will kill everyone.
