Is the BXPW considered this week's game update?

It varies; I believe 2/3 we had no update but 1/3 we did.

Plus who knows? The prayer potion is likely first update and its so small thats not really much they could put in teaser pictures of interest.

You could buy mahogany logs for tables, except that'd take really long even on BXPW.

Would you consider buying and looting zombie impling jars? I'm assuming you have a really massive cashpile and can take like a 30-40gp/xp method on BXPW :P

I have a cash pile, but not wlling to take a 400M loss! I did that for Herblore, certainly not going to do it for Construction. :P Plus, that would require me to do some quests.

Probably do some smithing/fletching/cooking with wines. Money is easy for me to make, its more about being enjoyable and efficient with time now.

I noticed last bxpw that herb materials crashed drastically 1-2 days b4 the weekend, was gonna buy supplies during that time, nothing rose this time around, so already bought supplies for 99 herb. Guess I got lucky this time, makes up for the 2nd bxpw I was F2P for.

Someone give me some advice, PLEASE.

I have been hunting grenwalls since March. I have 210K of them. I was expecting the price to rise for the bonus exp weekend, but now they are crashing at a grotesque fashion.

Anyways originally my plan was to sell, get 91-96 herblore BEFORE bonus exp weekend, and then make 700 extremes/overloads at beginning (after farming run) to get just about 99 herblore. Then I was going to make mahogany tables until 1.1 multiplier, then use all of my charms. This would get me over 90 construction (75 currently), and then I would still have a pretty penny left.

After I saw the vomit-inducing prices grenwalls were selling for, I figured I would just abandon my plans and just log in every several hours during BXPW so I can do numerous farming runs with a 2.7-2.5 multiplier, so I could at least get an attractive 2M or so farming exp.

However, I do have an offer to sell my 210K grenwalls for 850 each. This will get me 178.5M, so I will then have 185M total.

Should I take the offer and not look back ? Or do you think prices for grenwalls will rise ?

If I am confident that I could get over 220M for my 210K grenwalls then I will go with my farming plan.

TL;DR

What are the chances Grenwall spikes will recover to 1K each (or more), and am I an absolute fool if I don't sell my grenwalls for 850 each when they currently buy on GE for 500?

Thank you so much if you respond. I don't know what to do.

There are several grenwall bots out right now, so I'd just dump them @500 before prices crash further. I have heard reports of people leaving offers for spikes in at 100 each and having them actually fill.

I refuse to believe they will stay at 500 gp or less for good. Making extreme ranging potions is some of the absolute best herblore experience in game. Much more exp per hour than making any of the other extremes. Not only are they more exp per potion, you can also make 27 pots per inventory. It should cost more than making any of the other extremes, but with grenwalls this cheap it actually costs less. If the best herblore experience is also the cheapest then it will not take long for everyone to start training herblore that way and then suddenly there will be large demand for spikes again. That is just my logical guess though. I'm an actor not an economist.

Although extreme pots are untradable - they have value to.

Who only wants 5k extreme range pots?

I will be buying mass dungeoneering floors with my gp, logging out once in the floor, logging back in when the floor ends, thereby keeping my 2.7x timer for 40+ larges

Oh, wow.

That's genius. Simply genius.

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.

I'll be planting trees tonight, I'm so close to 99 farming and have got this far on self-sufficiency (if collecting from Miscellania comes under that heading). I already have some unfinished pots put by, not many but probably enough to do a level or 2 of herblore. The question is, will greed get the better of me? As unfinished pots go through the roof price wise, at times like this

I will be making a couple of overloads, not to gain any levels particularly as I am happy with 97 herblore but just because I feel like I'd waste a lot of money if I didn't use those torstols sitting in my bank.

After that's done I'll hopefully get 97 construction with these 90k oak panks I've bought. I would cash in my 35 long bones and 10 curved ones but I just can't be bothered doing a quest.

If there's still time left after that and I can be bothered to play then I shall continue with agility.

lucky those that are buying supplies now...almost everything is cheaper than ever.

It's because there are few legit players left.

There is little point in levelling up no one really cares anymore.

Also when your stat's are good people just accuse you of botting.

Nice theory, but wrong. It's because people stockpiled ingredients for months in anticipation of BXP weekend. Now the market is flooded with people trying to sell of their supplies, hence the lower prices.

Simple. People who only want XP. I have a few hundred x range, and 1200+ (4) ovls. It'll be a while til I need more. If I wanted pure xp, I'd just make x range.

And yes, unlike WoW, in RS it is FAR easier to stockpile masses of items.
