The main thing [to killing glacors] is soul split flashing, fire surge, prayer switching, avoid the ranged specials, kill the unstable before it explodes, lure away the enduring, finish on the sapping. At least that's what I do. You lose a bit of prayer from the sapper but at least you don't have to deal with the huge damage reduction from the enduring.

While the loading screen is visible on the client and showing the percentage bar, hold down "S" to enter safe mode.

Anyone disappointed that it isn't quite as long as you expected - best to enter these things without buying into the hype.

I finished the quest about three hours ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Equal if not better than While Guthix Sleeps in every regard.

I happened to see a BioIce[something] a few times during the quest on World 46. Just wondering if it was you? :P

Voldermort dies

Sorry just finished reading Harry Potter

Spoiler tags please!

lol, made me laugh :P

Just to ask did everyone finish it as fast as 3-4 hours?

It took me close to six, because I couldn't find Bob. Took me about 40 minutes to find him.

Just remembered to chat with Kuradel, felt nice to see a conclusion for her. Think I've visited everyone now, except whoever is still at Falador Castle...if anyone is still there

Wow, a really dissatifying end of story for me.. Quest really feels like "part 1 of 2", or maybe a "change story from A to B".

Deus ex machina, much?

[hide]What has kethsi & robert actually to do with this? - They could've just let out the whole kethsi plane & robert references.

Has anyone actually found what to do with that necklace you find from robert? - And you're supposed to return to him when he's not in cat form?[/hide]

First they came to fishing

and I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing

Then they came to the yews

and I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews

Then they came for the ores

and I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores

Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Average trip... And these things are supposed to be hard? They die as fast as TDs and can last longer each trip. Note... First trip. Lol.

Only 9 Armadyl Shards so far though.

Could you give me some pointers on how to get that number?

I would also love to know how this Is done.

Tbh...It was a good quest, but overall I was disappointed. There were several times when I thought how ridiculous that certain part is, and overall I just couldn't really immerse with the storyline as in other quests.

Best quest this year was BoD for me, hands down.

Jagex has previously said that while this quest was supposed to wrap up Lucien, it would also expand on a storyline barely touched upon until now.

[spoiler=Spoiler]

Namely, the dragonkin storyline. I definitely agree that this quest spent a disproportionate amount of time in Kethsi, but there's a lot not wrapped up so there will be a sequel to this eventually almost certainly. If you recall, Robert the Strong was a legendary warrior who supposedly fought the Dragonkin in a different age, and Bob the cat is his reincarnation. During ROTM, we find out that he knew he was going to be reincarnated, learn that the Dragonkin guard the Stone of Jas in such a way that using the Stone causes the Dragonkin's power and rage to go up, which leads them to destroy lots of things. Because of the notes that you find in Kethsi, it seems very likely Robert the Strong will return in human form in a subsequent quest and help the player defeat the dragonkin. I can't wait for the next quest.

@bladekill:

[hide]Indeed this may be true, but had it really have to come with this quest? - Couldn't it just be a start of a quest on its own? - Really the tie between kethsi & mahjarrat is neglectable. Really everything I gained in kethsi was of no use further in the quest.

Also the end of lucien is, unsatisfying. Really, a 2 hit blow and death, player uninvolved, his own fault? Seems really like deus ex machina to me.

What about Zaros?

[hide]Also what's this about Zamorak returning from banishment, and did Saradomin return too (cause he was on Gielinor)? What does this mean? Guthix pissed off? Zaros???[/hide]

Reposting this as it's very interesting to know and no one has said much about it in the thread.

Having troubles with the waves of fights. Specifically the Ice Demon section. I can barely get one down before I'm out of prayer and food. Oh well, I'll regroup later when I haven't been trying for hours on end.

So far so good! Can't wait to see the rest of the quest.

I didn't see Hazeel at all during the quest...

He is in it, hes the guy with the horns. I'm not surprised you missed him though, he had about two lines of dialogue.

[hide]Also, can someone please explain to me how Khazard is just suddenly 'alive' again? When I say that, I mean, how did he go from getting his ass kicked by us and becoming a part of the shadow realm, to becoming a 10 foot tall walking tank that is suddenly made up of flesh and bone again?[/hide]

He's not necessarily revived for all players, I'm assuming that's gonna get wrapped up one way or another in a quest or side piece of story or something.

@mirror:

[hide]For the first: just take melee pray and you should be able to gain 0 dmg. Take prayer boosting outfit, maybe a bunyip to help surviving might you find yourself stuck. (Remember always to get out of the ice BEFORE starting to eat).

For the second demons: I just took strong defense, prayed mage and kept hitting 1. Maybe take a terrorbird for extra food, and use piety + magic pray at all times to speed this up[/hide]

Are you sure he appears if you didn't help release him during Hazeel Cult?

Also overall I think WGS was better

and

I can't wait to see what Wicked is doing to those poor Glacors!
