Recommended Posts

Use extremes on most tasks that you cannon and are very fast. One of the exceptions being dark beasts. Longer tasks that will benefit more from ovls like metallic dragons should be ovled.

Depending on how many overloads you have.

4k+ doses: Everything.

1k+ doses: Everything but abberant spectres, dagannoth, maybe velds (but space is an issue if you have herbicide/bonecruncher etc.).

200+ doses: Metal dragons, wyverns, ice strykewyrms. Save for bossing to make money.

You should probably also overload anything you mage with Storm of Armadyl. The spell is so expensive that it's probably cheaper to save runes by making each spell hit that little bit higher with overloads.

1m slayer xp all overloaded should take about 240-300 doses, cannon + titan everywhere.

Lol.

When you slay (with cannon), would expect to profit enough to use ovl on all your tasks?

If you're overloading tasks you don't aim for profit anyway

So your point is moot.

25 gp/xp for over 1m herblore xp/hr... If you have overloads anyway, you might as well use them.

Powerslaying does not profit.

I understand this, i personally have over 6.5 k doses and use them for every task

Spectres, Mutated Bloodvelds, Hellhounds, Metal Dragons, Dagannoths, Suqahs, Greaters, Black Demons, and Jad tasks.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

Spectres but not black dragons...?

Greaters (in Kuradal's, can't overload in the wilderness) but not dark beasts...?

Dagganoth but not ice strykewyrms...?

Jad tasks at all...?

There's some good reasons to not overload the tasks you mentioned.

You kind of confused me there. You say they all have reasons to not ovl but you use" but not" in your sentence. Kind of contradictory there. Oblige me with the reasons and I will apologize.

"just the ones that i will get the most benefit from ovling"

As stated in the OP. Your list is not the list of tasks (worth doing) that gain the most from overloading. You listed some things that are definitely worse to use overloads on (with limited supply) than other ones you listed.

Just use extremes everywhere!

Yes, specifically spectres and dagannoths the cannon does a significant portion of damage over the task which means that you're meleeing less so less benefit from the ovl.

You just listed a nonsensical, randomly-chosen group of slayer tasks and stuck Jad on the end.

The person before you explained it better, so no need for your imput to answering my question. How would you even know if I said it randomly? Those were the tasks that seemed right to ovl.

Honestly; I dont really see the need of overload slayer tasks. I have like about 1k sitting in the bank but I only really take them out on actually bosses. For mostly as tasks, I just ext att/str (sometimes ext def if def is needed).

But if you go the money to waste, sure go ahead.
