Simple rules: "giving up" an attack styles means your accuracy will always be 0% with that style! Extra binds are in addition to your current binds and can be anything, including 225 ammo. Assume you're only giving up only one style at the time (not trading range+mage for double extra binds total :P). You can also assume that you'll find a hexhunter bow for ranging, or that you'll get 99 magic for maging, if it's your current stats/binds that prevent you from using a style.

And, because you can only add 3 questions to a poll:

How many extra binds to give up the ability to wear shadow silk hood?

How many extra binds to give up the ability to wear a blood necklace?

How many extra binds to give up the ability to wield a hexhunter bow?

(personally that's 1 - 3 - 3)

1. I would break it over a primal plate. Just my opinion.

2. Tough one, never came across but I hear it is really useful so I'd agree to 3.

3. When I get one I will never break it, but if I had to choose then 1 bind if they came out with something much much better.

First non-meleer to vote :P

I only use range for a couple of bosses where magic is useless. However, I think extra binds would make me want to use range MORE, not less. So I would never give up using it. On the other hand if the extra binds were in some way a reward for giving up range I might give it up completely and just be useless occasionally if I gained an extra 3 binds and the ability to bind laws as well as surgebox.

Magic is too much more powerful than the range to even think about giving it up.

I would never give up SSH. Not for anything.

I don't use blood necklace at the moment, so certainly nothing. However, if I had an extra 2 binds I might be persuaded to start using it.

I don't have hex but I do want one. However, I think an extra 2 or 3 binds would be enough to exchange for using one.

That's the idea :P. You'd gain extra binds in exchange for 0% accuracy in a certain combat style.

  • 1 month later...

How many extra binds to give up the ability to wear shadow silk hood? Probably 1, so I could have plate + something instead of hood.

How many extra binds to give up the ability to wear a blood necklace? My dream item bind. I'd give it up though, I suppose, for boots + gauntlets + bloodrager bind, which I wish existed

How many extra binds to give up the ability to wield a hexhunter bow? None, don't have the range level to wield one, can't afford to train it. Don't really want one either.

I mostly just do solo meds/smalls when I'm in the mood now. I have hood/p2h/gorg gauntlets but was thinking to switch to gorgonite (prom in 500k xp) platebody. I dunno

Edit: Lol, I chose the most popular survey answers too

Would giving up Magic mean we can't use gatestones?

Gatestones don't have an accuracy so no :).

How many extra binds to give up the ability to wear shadow silk hood? Don't think I have the levels/skill to survive well without it,so I would have to say 4 so i could have a full set of armor to protect me lol.

How many extra binds to give up the ability to wear a blood necklace? 1 if i ever got the levels for surgebox so I could have laws as well.

How many extra binds to give up the ability to wield a hexhunter bow? 0,don't care about range and have never had a need for it(I also don't have anywhere near the required level).
