Episkey, previously known as Pixel Tamer, is my main that i created in 2006. He started out as a pure that progressed pretty well to at one point having 85 att 99 str and 1 defence but then all the trade limit stuff happened so i decided i wanted to get my monies worth out of the game so i became main and since then have progressed to what i am now, i have taken many many breaks and i thought i had finally quit the account for good in late 2010 when i was hacked and i had my entire bank taken and all of my untradeables dropped, including 5 chaotics.

 

I have chosen to start him up again as i was over being so limited on fiend, all i could do was stake. Episkey well be very heavily centered towards PvM as that is my very favorite aspect of the game. I will be setting a variety of goals all towards becoming the perfect PvMer. I Have since stopped playing on stake fiend for the time being as im enjoying rs so much more on Episkey, ill will still keep his blog up as i feel its a good read for viewers and a nice rags to riches story.

The 27th of October 2011

 

2400 total! :-D , never thought i would ever get this. I am progressing very nicely with 81 total levels until i max cape the majority of which being buyables. I attained this total level through still doing my daily farming runs and i also grew 1k torstol so going to just hold onto them until the market chills out because i am pretty certain they will rise as the value of gp being to increase (DERP).

 

Also got 99 firemaking a quick and easy 99 which i did with mainly yews because i cbf with maple xp/rate, also 96 woodcutting afking so will probably just go straight through to 99 as i still have some uni assignments to finish + just general browsing and watching movies + tv shows, recently attained first 3 seasons of dexter so that should be amazing.

 

I have been trying to do theiving but i just cant get into the mood, i have about ~10 hours until 90, i also mentioned i might try do some quests but hey.....i didn't as usual :P. Im also a bit concerned with construction atm as well, im hoping mahogany don't rise to much :S[

I have done quite a bit of skilling since 99 slayer and might even forget all that i have achieved so bare with me :P. Gotten a fair few stats to 90 these include : Smithing, Woodcutting, Firemaking, Farming and Crafting along with aldo finishes both the ardy elite diary and the freminik elite diary. I still however have not done all the quests and i know i am going to regret it if i dont finish them by the time dominion tower comes out....but what the heck.

 

Now onto how i trained the skills, Smithing was done doing ceremonial swords at the artisans workshop up until 88 and then switched to addy plates until 90, i thought i liked smithing but have found out i really dont and 99 is going to be a bit of a struggle, certianly won't be able to do it all at once like some people (*cough* nyu :XD:). Woodcutting was basically nothing, because i basically did nothing, i just sat at ivy for a few days while doing uni assignments and next thing i knew i was 91 woodcutting, such an easy skills and i now know longer wonder why i was ranked 700k at 80. Firemaking......oh how i hate it, Will NEVER understand why is it classed as an "easy" skill, it is not easy so much clicking. But anyway im currently 93 firemaking and did it all with yew logs because they are like 2gp/xp lmfao also got my adze which i have always wanted.

 

Farming just happened really, started doing tree runs with magics and palms but have since moved to palms and maples (yews and magics same cost, dam spines!) because i really cbf spending the money on magics.Also throwing in torstol farming when doing skills i cant stand ( smithing, firemaking), think i farmed about 2k torstol so nice profit there. Finally we move onto crafting which i did mainly when i wanted to watch a movie or something because they only buy 1k every 4 hours so had to wait a bit for them to buy in mass amounts, i think i cut around 30-40k of them probably more. you lose about 400-500gp per emerald so its not that bad considering there speed (up to 5k cut an hour).

 

I think thats about it besides doing the diaries which i will probably try and finish all that i can tommorrow, i think they only one i cant do is karajma with its rc requirement.I'm also going to try and do some quests but no promises.....Might wait until runefest happens and see what they say about the tower. 24h should be more then enough time to complete the quests needed.

Again there was a long time between updates but this is mainly due to me not having anything to inform you of!. But now i do i have achieved 99 slayer! something i never thought i would achieve and is definitely my favorite achievement to date. I used the effigy slayer lsit which i will post at the bottom of this for anyone who wishes to read it follow it. Its basically just a lsit to maximise effigies per hour and brings it down to about 1 effigy per 90k slayer xp.

 

I ended up getting 30 effigies from slaying along with the 21 i got from glacors so i used all 51 to get me from 97-99 slayer in about 10 minutes :D. Passed a few milestones while slaying currently at 36m hp xp and almost 30m str xp which is pretty impressive imo, oh and i almost forgot i did power slayer with cannon turmoil etc but my slayer tab ended up at 45m from 93-97 so i think i made a bit of money (:. Also been doing a little bit of fishing and i am at 97 at the moment so close to crossing another goal of the list :P

 

I will probably be getting the quest cape back in the next couple of days as i have a hunch it will be useful for the upcoming update dominion tower. I think i have about 8-10 quests to do or so so wont take me to long, oh and wow i almost forgot i got 99 fishing lmfao.

Been awhile since update, lacing the motivation and these forums seem pretty inactive these days :( Anyway onto what ive been up to. I have gained a fair few levels including some farming crafting but msotly fishing. At the moment i am 96 fishing and would already be 99 but Rotm came out so i had to do that and then camped at glacors until i got 100 shards which took a few days.

 

Along the way i collected 21 effigies and received 2 boot drops; Ragefire and Steadfast which sold for 6.5 and 20.5m. Getting the staff took me 45-50 hours of killing as i was not doing the fastest killing method was just doing it chilled. As of now im trying to sell the staff but its plain sttupid with price manipulators etc so just going to wait and see.

 

Now that i have done the staff i will most likely continue fishing until 99 with a little bit of dungeoneering, once im finished fishing i will move onto rc. Want to get the slow skills out of the way :P Oh yeh and livid farm, im about 300k produce from finishing it so will have to complete that at some point.

Well i think im back to this game after all :P i have updated my goals to include and extensive list that should keep me going for quite some time. Since stopping this thread i have gained 99 Mining and Agility! two skills i thought i would never get.

 

Also done a bit of minigaming when the temple trekking revamp came out and attained the full constructors outfit which will come in handy. along with this had some slight gains in skills including 83 Thieving an 85 Fishing along with 81 farming. Also being doing a bit of livid farm i currently have 100k produce so only 750k to go......yeah its gonna take me awhile going to do 5k astrals at a time.

 

Thats all for now going to be mostly concentrating on Fishing with a bit of livid farm and some herb runs. Oh yeh and with the herb runs using farming juju potions which omfg took me 400 kills of jadinkos in order to get ONE ugene seed like fml, but since then i got 2 more and my scroll of life has given me 3 seeds back while farming them so pretty stocked up

.

Basically just been spending all my time at nex and i have pretty much got it down now, havn't died in awhile :P. Managed to get 5 nex drops; Virtus Mask, Virtus Top, Zaryte bow, Torva platelegs and Pernix body. So my bank has got a nice little increase and should keep increasing now that i will be doing smaller teams as im better at nex.

 

Havnt really been able to nex with pid yet beause of the team requirements, full pernix and div o-0. i dont think so haha. So just been doing void teams so i bought a pernix top for them (880m -.-). Once i cna afford chaps im going to dg for a eagle eye kite shield then i should be good for pid teams (:

Finally (: I know in my goals i only need 96 summoning but PID updated their reqs and 99 summon is now required so i had to get that. I got 96 Magic and Summoning at rock lobsters, it was at this point i decided i was never going back there even again. So i slayed for 99 summoning, 90-93 slayer got me 15 effigies + 98 summoning i then used all the effigies on summoning and ended up 350kish from 99 so i went to td's and got the remaining charms/effigies needed for 99.

 

I did magic at soul wars because imo its the best xp over 300k an hour most of the time making it very fast, 99 magic makes me truly maxed 138 combat which i never thought i would get but i have got it (:. All that i need for pid now is ardy 3 which is 2 hours approx so wont take long and the cape will be good for ffa corp. From there i need to learn how to nex at which point i can start joining pid teams and get the 4 referral i need to join and i will of finally achieved my goal of being in the top PvM clan.

Haven't been playing that much but still managed to get some stuff done, 94 magi and summoning. All ive been doing when playing is bursting lobs which is one of the most boringest things this game has to offer. First trip that i bought super prayers on i managed 1.6k crims which is pretty decent but then on my 2nd trip i forgot my barrows gloves + onyx ring(i) but everything else was the same and i managed to get 2.1k crims, So i have no idea what made the difference but im hoping for another 2k+ crims my next trip.

 

I think ive got about 4k crims to go until 96 summoning but im hoping i wont need to get all of them and that i can use my blues,golds and greens even though the latter of the two are awful xp i just really dont like bursting and it kills my motivation to play.

Wel.......I didn't want to burst so i bought 99 prayer :P, it cost me 118m for 6.6k frost bones which got me from 95-99 in about 5 hours, incredibly fast xp. I always planned on getting 99 prayer because i needed 98 for 138 cmb (with 96 summon) so i figured why not get 99 + i like the cape alot.

 

Went on a bursting trip but it was short lived, got 320 charms before my friend asked me to go duo armour so i couldn't say no, we didn't have the best setup, neither of us have yak's and only i have the unicorn but we did alot better then expected getting 45 kills so that was nice, we also got an arma helm drop but only 1.6m each....-.-

 

But rest assured there is litterally nothing else i can do but burst (unless i start buying 99's.......but i will try my best not to). I discovered i still have my hati paws at 100% so that's definitely an unexpected bonus and should bring up 90 mage in the next few days.

300 ma rank and 96 herblore done. 96 herblore was pretty fast but a little bit tedious as i made 1k overloads from 95-96 and when you make 4 per invent.....yeh it can be very boring and slow and requires constant attention.

 

Herblore hwoever was nothing compared to 300 rank, i already had 105 rank from when ma came out and i no lifed it the night it came out but stopped straight away. If i had of started from rank 0 i may not have made it to 300, i did make it however after many hours of suiciding because i could not be bothered actually trying to play it when i was already getting to the cap (12 ranks per hour) every hour. Its probably the most annoying thing about ma and a dominate reason why it snot very popular, i would of lost 20-25 ranks because of it, for some reason they dont warn you before the game that your at the limit, it instead waits until u finish the game and gives you no rank for it.

 

Only one more thing left on my list and that is bursting lobs for summon and magic, it is easily the biggest goal on my list and will take me about a week IF i play everyday and spend all my time bursting while logged in, im going to try and do this but i can make no promises. It will more then likely take me around 2 weeks because i really really hate bursting..

2 More goals i can cross of the list :D Chaotic Maul and Rigour, so thats dungeoneering for the time being although i will probably go back in the near future simply because its fun and there are a few more things i would like to buy. Also did some herblore now at level 95 so will be 96 by next update, making overloads with ales and its incredibly boring and painful, 4 potions an invent is not fun...got about 500 or so to go until 96 herblore.

 

Probably gonna delay bursting until 200 ma rank :P which i estimate im about 8 hours away from so will be doing that over the next few days then i will burst. Making good progress with my goals might be done all a bit ahead of schedule, really just depends on how much time i dedicate to bursting per day. Oh and almost forgot turns out you don't need chaotic maul for nex anymore but i bought it anyway, pretty fun to bandos/td's with :P

 

Death update also came recently so will be interesting to see what happens to the economy if its effected at all, also the easter update which i was pretty dissapointed with...but at least the emote is nice.

Got my chaotic crossbow, my firecape and did a little bit of herblore. Dungeoneering tokens are coming in at rapid rates..im already 100k tokens into my chaotic maul so i met get that today if i don't go on a bursting trip (which is very likely....so boring). As you can see in the picture (look at the time) its possible for almost 40k tokens an hour (on warped). The average dungeoneering time is about 25 minutes but sometimes you get a really good layout like the picture to the left and its incredibly fast. Im 103 dg at the moment will be 104 when i get my maul and rigour prayer.

 

Also got my firecape, took me 5 attempts, kind of sad haha considering my stats. Takes me about 45 minutes to get to jad so its not to bad, but on my first attempt i failed hard, 2nd attempt i killed all the healers only for them to come back and start healing again so i got them all tanked on me again and they were still healing jad so i was like umm wtf...This whole time jad was like 1/5hp coz i was out hitting the healers but then i died coz healers were stressing me out. 3rd time was a failure died on like wave 45 because of i somehow hit my quick prayers and didn't realize until i died. 4th time i got to jad was going good but then i switched wrong and bam 890 dead. BUT fifth time i did it! woot.

 

Also did alot bit of herblore, 93 atm with 95 banked at which point ill have 2k+ of all the extremes so plenty of supplies for ovl which i will make by using ales.

Got a little but done over the last few days. Got my full void with elite top and bottom and both ranger and melee helm, completed seers 4...ive never liked achievement diaries and i never will they just seem so tedious. Also went on a bursting trip and did some dungeoneering.

 

Bursting is going to definitely be the longest goal on the list ive never been there before and thought it would be a little bit faster then it was but oh how i was wrong, my trip lasted about 5 and a half hours and i got 850 crims but it felt like 3 days its just so boring. The invent i bought wasn't the best like i bought 4 xtreme magics because i somehow managed to forgot about vecna's skull.... With a few changes i think i should be able to get my trips to over 1k crimsons per invent pushing them up to around 8 hours.

 

Onto dungeoneering, it has improved greatly since i stopped doing it all that time ago. 3 binds only is amazing and 30 minute larges are considered average these days, Getting my 2 chaotics should be pretty cruisy as i have already got 90k tokens and it felt like nothing.

 

I will probably just be bursting in offf peak times and doing dungeoneering in peak times as theres so many teams in peak times, when i finish dungeoneering ill move onto ma.

Fiend

Fiend was created in January 2011 when i heard that the Wild, Free trade and Staking were all possibly going to be implemented back into the game. I originally wanted to make a rapier staker but no spec staking is just completely random i swear with the outcome generally depending on first hit. Anyway that wasn't going to work so got 75 mage and started sol staking with abnormally high hp and it seems to do the trick.

 

I Have another account called Pixel Tamer that i do not play anymore but it was the previous focus of this topic. I put a lot of time into the account with it being level 136 with 99 dungeoneering/turmoil/Overloads. I have recently decided to start playing it again and will be logging my progress on post #2, check it out.

Well ive started school 4 days a week so havn't been able to play runescape that much, however i did manage to get 80 strength and 83 hp mainly just at soulwars. Just been afking and doing watching some movies/ messing around with things on my computer which evidently decided to kill itself mid last week which was fun to fix (:. So i had to do all my re customizations again :o. I also managed to get my rapier dropped by a "hacker" which i know is somebody that i know in real life because they got by account by deleting the recovery questions which basically means that they got my account by not filling in any recovery questions but filling in the rest of the form and giving old recovery questions in the extra information of the form. So that was annoying because they didn't take anything they just dropped the rapier...so im going to have to get that back at some point, i estimate it will take me 40-50 hours.

 

Tried to do some more stakign won a little bit of mooney sitting on 7-8mil at the moment but im probably going to get 90 hitpoints before i go back because i really want/need to get out of this bs 60 att 80-99 str staker zone because im simply over all the crap that comes with being in those levels. I will also probably get maby 85 strength or so depending on what i want my combat to be. 90 Hitpoints will take me some time to get as i have school alot now so 300 zeals will take some time so don't expect updates anytime soon :P

Finally got 80 dungeoneering and my rapier :D, got it alot faster then i expected as i play alot over the last 3 days i think like a total of 30 hours or so was spent dungeoneering. But oh my god was it worth it, as of this moment i am up over 50mil in the space of 2 hours of getting my rapier. So i am obviously ecstatic with its performance against d scims haha. I plan to stake for quite awhile now, i really want a green party hat. I know its incredibly hopeful but its my one and only goal at the moment so well just see what happens, but for now i love staking so ima just live at the arena. Not much to say in this update no where near as long as my other one :), should be another update soon tot ell you how my staking is going.

Well...long time since an update, i have been playing quite a bit just haven't seemed to of achieved much....However i did get 80 hp at soul wars and 80 attack from rock crabs (13 hours for 78-80...YES) . 80 hp was pretty good as i have 2 monitors so move/tv show on one while afking in soul wars on the other, the only down side was for the first time in 4-5 years i was randomly dc'ing from runescape...only when i was at soul wars. Since i left soulwars it has stopped so no idea what the go is their, something about the place. Anyway 80 hp was 200 zeals which took about ~50 hours, it should of been more like 250 zeals but thanks to dc/not paying attention to activity timer it wasn't.

 

On to more pressing news Staking came out :D, i was online at the time so i ran straight there even without my wanted stats. Did pretty well at the start went up like 1-2 mil in first 30 minutes, then some guy with 30 att 99 str wanted to stake me 10mil so i was like f*** yeh ill beat this dude easily, get into stake he pulls out stats war hammer almost 2 hits me......:mellow:. So that was my fault i should have expected something like that but in the excitement of staking being released i didn't stop to think. But oh well staking was over for the day my bank was empty (the 10mil came as a "gift" from a "friend"). So back to soul wars and i got 80 hp and declared in my own mind that there will be no more staking until i have a rapier...yeh right.

 

While i was getting 80hp nyu suspiciously told me to go to world 5 ge so i did and she gave me 4mil of her merch account :wub:. SO had some money in the bank again so once i hit 80 hp i went and staked again :XD:, but this time i had a plan, i was taking 1 mil out of my bank and that was it, if that was gone, no more. So just staking and went up to like 1.7mil ish then someone who should not of beat me (same cmb but with 44 prayer, i had like a total of +16 att and str on him), however i still managed to lose 1.6mil to this person, so the rage within took over ran to the bank got 1 mil out and staked 1mil against this same person. I won by just under 3/4 hp:lmao:, so i went back to the bank and deposited the 1mil.

 

Kept staking throughout the night then i went up to 3.5mil so i was stoked with that but then me and this guy had a couple of duel i won some he won some, then we went big (well for my cash pile it was big). We staked 2.5mil he had dds and vesta long with 60 att 70 str i had dds whip with 80 att 60 str. spec were even but then on his first hit with Vesta long it degraded:-D, this was when we were both at about half hp but he still had d scim and he somehow managed to beat me. So i was back down to 1mil so i decided it was time to leave arena, came out even haha, no drama. All of this happened at about 1-5 am my time when i had school today at 8am, just the thrills of staking pushing me through haha.

 

Anyway enough of staking, onto dungeoneering i managed to get 73 the day after i updated the thread last time and pretty much haven't dg'd since. tried to distract myself with hitpoints/staking but there will be no more PROCRASTINATION, i will be getting 80 dungeoneering as soon as possible. Just need to push through it and with nothing to distract me now i should be right. I estimate i have about ~20-25 hours to go so i *should* be completing this on about Tuesday or Wednesday next week unless i somehow find time to play on the weekend, but i usually don't. I have also started TAFE doing a cert 4 in Information Technology Networking so that's on Thursday and Fridays for 8 hours, very happy that im doing this. Also not going to have members for a day or two in 3 days as i get my "jobless" money from the government in 4-5 days, so that should be interesting. At least i can still dungeoneer in f2p. Also on a side note Pixel Tamer (my previous account) now has 100 Dunge and possible the most beautiful piece of Armour ever witnessed, the primal plate.

 

At some point in the very near future i will also be getting 80 strength as i believe it will be better for the arena, less people like me, more people that i can beat :P Oh and i almost forgot a changed my name to Stake Fiend and made a new banner, quite happy with how the effect turned out. Anyway the name means Stake Demon, it also means, depending on what definition of fiend you use, a person motivated by irrational enthusiasm. So im "fiending" on staking. I much prefer the second definition when people ask me what my name means. Well thats about it and wow i wrote alot more then i originally intended to haha :blink:

Oh...My...God, this was the most painfullest thing ive ever had to endure on the internet. Nothing has ever frustrated me more then getting this level, i could not believe the amount of bad luck i was getting. If something could go wrong it did, i would get stomp 4-5 times in a row on multiple occasions, over half my dungeon would be puzzle rooms on multiple occasions. I even manged to get at least one 100+ door on 12 dungeons in a row..yes 12. What the hell kind of luck is that it drove me to insanity for the first time in my gaming history i have found my self yelling at the computer which never happens...just shows the level of frustration this is causing me.

 

But it will be worth it :D i know have even more motivation as going throw this ordeal has told me on thing, not many pure stakers are going to even attempt to get 80 dungeoneering so thats definitely a bonus (:. I also changed my way of duneing again which seems to be working better, i now duo 2:2 the last 10 floors on medium as its about the same xp/h (sometimes more depending on how bad my luck is) but i don't have to do the lower floors as often as before. hope that made sense.

 

80 dungeoneering should be achieved in about a week so i highly doubt my staker is going to be ready for the 1st of feb launch, but you never know.

Done with attack for the time being! stopped at 78 because now i plan to no life some dungeoneering and hope i get close to 80 from doing combat while inside the dungeon, but we shall see. Not much else happened past couple of days, didn't get to play that much as it was a weekend and ussually have to do something all the time but none the less 10 dungeoneering levels and 3 attack levels kept me happy. Tried my first large dungeon today and i must say it was pretty painful, the 4 people were all over 120+ cmb but they were just the biggest idiots ive ever met, they did not understand the concept of a dungeoneering at all so that was annoying dungeon took like 60 minutes which is way to long imo.

 

I will most likely duo 2:2 going through every floor i can do on c6 as its about 20k xp an hour and will only increase. Im lucky to get the same amount of xp/h doing large dungeons as everyone is such an idiot at my level and won't listen to me because im low cmb. Anyway im hoping for it to just keep increasing an average at about 35k xp/h from 60-80 that it will take about 50 hours of dungeoneering to get to 80....thats not going to be fun at all

 

We also had the faq for the wild come out this week and i was impressed, their will be no degradable/dungeoneering/untradeable rule implemented into staking so that made me over joyed, i was becoming concerned but all good now. Their was also another little thing about luring being re-allowed so definitely going to be hitting up some green dragon lures, blast from the past :D

 

I may not be able to get my account to my desired stats before the limit is removed due to me finally picking up some work so stoked about that, finally gonna be able to get some money again. But i should be able at least get close to 80 dungeoneering by the time staking is released, lets hope anyway. Next update shouldn't be to far away (:

Still at rock crabs :P but throwing in some dungeoneering every day, Managed to obtain 75 attack 61 combat 69 hp and 50 dungeoneering in the past few days. Attack went up so fast due to the hati gloves they lasted me 63-74 attack so that was a massive bonus, but now as im training with a whip it gets annoying as every 2nd pure comes up to me and goes "lolz fail attack is dumb" or something along those lines, i then go to explain what a chaotic rapier is capable of but they just choose to ignore me and keep laughing at me etc. Kind of annoying but ohwell :P they will soon see what is it capable of.

 

Been doing some dungeoneering for the last 3 days, on the first day i got it to 31 dungeoneering and then the last 2 days i just did a prestige run each day. Prestige run just means i went from fresh reset to all floors done, I plan on doing this until im around 60 dungeoneering at which point ill start doing some larges which i am not looking forward to at all since i know i'm going to be dealing with a lot of idiots who think their better then me at dungeoneering just because they are higher level then me, but ill just cross that bridge when i get their. I was leveling dungeoneering by duo'ing small dungeons at 2:2 which i like a lot. I have no idea if its the fastest xp but its working for me at the moment.

 

By the next update i should have 80 attack which is about another ~20 or so hours at rock crabs and hopefully around about 60 dungeoneering at which point i will just start no lifing large dungeons until i get to 80. I then plan to go to soul wars and get 80hp which should not take me that long to obtain their, maby a few days or so. But if all goes well i should be ready by the 1st of February (:

Well still at rock crabs and managed to obtain 60 attack and strength along with 63hp and 55 combat, so im still going strong. As you may have noticed i don't get much runescape on the weekends mainly just during the week. Anyway i also completed monkey madness which was a breeze, i did it in 90 minutes with 1 prayer and 1 defence, i recon on an account with a yak i could do the quest in ~40 minutes :P Im going to keep training attack just waiting for this article to come out about the hole free trade/wild/staking which is due in a matter of hours! excitement!

 

Also in other news i was involved in a discussion about how "the turmoil zerker has met its end" with nyu (ren nanao) and forty lashes, if you want to view what its like arguing with a talking brick wall then you should definitely read from page 6 onwards. The thread can be found here. Let me know your views on this discussion, im interested to see what other people think.

 

 

The 13th of January 2011

 

Never again is all i can say, i do not remember 60-70 range being this tedious on Pixel Tamer but i hung on and eventually got to 70 range which also brought along 49 Combat (momenarilly range based) + 60 constitution. It took me about 20 hours of iron knving rock crabs, i just watched movies the hole time (Dual Screens) so it was not as bad as it could of been nut now that its done im happy, finally have black d hide which i really only wanted for the look :P. Now i can focus back on melee which sadly means back to rock crabs, i can think of no matter alternative but oh well. Before i get back into melee properly i want to do monkey madness and get some rfd gloves (to lazy to check what gloves i can get :P). might do those 2 things tomorrow.

 

Anyway moving on ive been thinking more about what type of build i want my staker to be, the only thing i know for certain is that im staying 1 defence and 1 prayer. Im pretty certain i know what build i want to start off with but it will all depend on when this vote ends and jagex release some more information. Anyway the build i have in mine will begin staking at 80 attack, 60 strength, 80 constitution (soulwars) and 80 dungeoneering, those stats would make me a combat of 65 which i think is very good. The method i would use would be special attack on melee on everything else off. The dual would start with 4 vesta long swords spec then pull out chaotic rapier.

 

The downside to this is that vesta long swords are not by any means cheap as they cost 11k per special attack, i can ofcourse downgrade to dds if needed. My other obstacle is 80 dungeoneering, the only reason this is an obstacle for me is the fact that i have already achieved 99 dungeoneering on my other account (Pixel Tamer) so i don't have alot of motivation to start at 1 again but i will find a way to get motivated. IMO this type of staker would absolutely dominate any level 65 that crossed my path (hopefully) and it also allow me to expand my stats quite easily.

 

Anyway enough reading, tell me what you guys think of the build + any builds you would recommend or slight adjustments etc. Any input will be appreciated, until next time ;)

Good Progress is being made, as you can see i achieved 60 range took a little bit of time but it was fine now just need tog et to 70 and go from their. I trained purely at rock crabs with iron knives and plan to do the same for 70. I also achieved 53hp and 46 combat and completed 2 quests; Horror from the deep and Death plateau. Horror form the deep was very annoying and i kept having to run because i would run out of food but finally killed him on 4th attempt for my zammy book which i plan to fill as soon as i get money. Death plateau was alot easier and grants me access to climbing boots which are useful for training. My plan for the next couple of days is to get 70 range, some mage levels (most probably 55) and complete monkey madness for d scim, should not take to long unless something comes up.

 

Really enjoying playing on this account as its bringing back memories of being a 1 def pure way back in 2006 on pixel tamer so i cannot wait to grow and become a decent pure, look forward to it and not really dreading anything, i just don't really know where to train once i get to 70+ levels as on Pixel Tamer i just went to pest control (this was of course when the xp/h was insane), any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

As you may have noticed the thread has had some little changes with sections titles and i have added a new section with starting and current stats which i believe is a good way to show progress. I also changed the music and as you can probably see i have been getting hell into electro house music lately. Until Next time ;).

 

 

The 10th of January 2011

 

First Entry...Starting a fresh. Stake me sid is going to, as you have probably guessed by the name, be a staker when (if) the duel areana is re-released. I plan to be a 1 defence 1 prayer staker as they were very successful when the duel arena was around and i have had one of them before (pixel tamer originally had 80 att 90 strength 1 defence and could stake alright). I Started him a few days ago and have just got 24 hours game time and i think i have progressed pretty well getting 50 att and strength, 37 range and 29 agility and also completing a few quests to get soem quick attack xp starting off. This helped me alot as i had 43 attack before even killing anything and also had 30 strength. The agility was for the gnome quests and range is just from training it for d hide.

 

I plan on getting 70 range now straight away for black d hide as its quite useful then i will work on attack and strength + a few quests for the d scimmy and such. Im going to be getting the zammy book and climbing boots shortly aswell as they are just for my outfit and bonuses that i want for training. I was dissapointed that i couldn't get ghostly robe top with 1 prayer but oh well ill find something else. They are my immediate plans anyway mostly just going to train until jagex announces something after the 14th of January. Until then ill just be training and chilling in zchat
