I'm hoping to reach 400m by the evening of August 16th as I go on holiday for a week on the 17th. This means I need to make around 12m a day, wish me luck :?

It's the main reason I've never really done a proper drop tab until now. I went into this tab knowing that I may lose quite a bit due to crashing prices but I don't really care, I'm having fun making it :razz:

I'll probably just work on soloing all the gwd drops, I originally wanted to solo all of them post eoc. I've got about a half dozen of them across the 4 main gwd bosses. I haven't tried nex yet but it looks fun enough.

Good luck, God Wars bosses are definitely easier now and with the new drops they added when the dungeon was updated you rarely stay dry for a long time :wink:

I could give it a try I suppose although it is a 40-50 hour challenge :?

EDIT: I've just looked at his blog and realized how he done it, I thought you meant get 1k boss kills without leaving! I might give it a go when I start doing some Zammy :razz:

 

As for Nex I've been having trouble with the blood phase. So far the best tactic I've seen is to kill the reavers before attacking Nex although you have to lure her to certain positions to prevent her from attacking you straight away. The sacrifice isn't too bad although you have to be standing in the right position to get away from it. Hopefully with some practice I'll be able to get the Blood phase down and start getting some kills! I won't be doing it over the weekend though, seems like weekday mornings (BST) are the best times to go.

Yeah, about 12 hours to do it, and I made something like 60m profit, so well worth doing, however luck etc and that was pre-barrage/bonecrusher nerf.

Thanks for the link, I'll definitely have to browse his videos. I've got some ideas to play about with so hopefully by the end of tomorrow I will have got some sort of statergy down.

 

Did an Octarine earlier and reinstalled windows onto my laptop. The game is running a lot smoother however TD's seem to still be pretty laggy. It's not so bad that they're not killable but it's rather annoying. As for drops I only have this sorry thing:

Gonna type of an ability order for solo blood (If I can remember it right) You ideally want nex in the channel thing, and not to be able to see you once you've run to reavers.

Tag Nex

Run to closest reaver

Zerk when close to it (eat if needed)

Standard basics till it dies (slice fury etc)

Adren pot

If second reaver is very close hit it also, with autoattack -> dismember.

Nex should just jump near to you as you do this.

Instantly click her, Assault.

When 3rd hit's appeared/missed use Sever

Then one more ability (NOT KICK/BACKHAND, make sure not to use these till after siphon)

She should call sacrifice, use Escape if you have room to, run if you don't, 7 squares away is enough. use freedom/anticipate -> any basic, as you click her to gain adren.

once you've hit nex, instantly do Kick -> Destroy.

If you're super lucky you'll get it in one, if not repeat, but without Zerk, using Frenzy after the blood sacrifice.

If you mess up really badly and don't get it within 5 siphons, teleport/have someone help you.

Thanks for the tips! Due to a slow laptop, the fact I'm a serial miss-clicker and my general incompetence I'm unable to do the blood phase anywhere near that efficient yet but I have come up with a strategy that seems to work. I basically hide from Nex when she Siphons and kill 1 Reaver before attacking her. It does take me 3-5 Siphons but hey, it's a start!

Yay for first Nex solo. I never tried soloing after she got buffed. Seems like that level 90 wand is pretty OP. Good luck getting torva plate (is that even the most expensive item now?). 8-)

Yeah the V Wand is the one everyone is after now although I wouldn't say no to a T Plate :razz:

 

Been doing some more Nex and got my first drop there:

 

 

I now do the Blood phase with drygores and a tactic similar to Amblers. Usually takes 2-4 Siphons depending on how much I derp. One thing that annoys me with the Blood phase is how unreliable Assault seems to be. Sometimes it absolutely destroys her and other times it only hits once. Anyways this will probably be my last drop before I go on holiday so I probably won't be updating for a while.
