Star.
So, I'm gonna make a pretty neat signature for myself. I have a bad habit of starting things and not finishing them. Originally I wanted to do a pixel signature because I love looking at them but I get frustrated because I'm kind of shit at colouring and can't work with small spaces and big ol blocks of pixels. My first initial idea was a standard slayer signature. Me, with ma boiiiii Pinkie Pie fight them slayer monsters. I make my mock ups in Photoshop because I prefer using the brush tool in there. The mock up: The image of the dragon and dark beast is very heavily based upon the runescape version. Infact, I think I traced the dragons head. If you can't tell then there's my character in the center with Pinkie Pie behind me who's scaring off the dragon whilst an abyssal demon approaches from the side. I'm facing a hellhound and a dark beast as I hold up my whip in a bad-ass come at me bro kind of way. I then redid the lineart in Illustrator: I was ready to colour it but I said NOPE. I don't like this generic signature so I'm going to redo it. I'm going to take out the monsters because they are in the way and have characters from stuff I like fighting alongside my character in an awesome crossover type of signature. I might keep the abyssal demon because it actually looks good. I'll make it my abyssal minion. Next step: Create a mock up with the characters of my choice. ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢
Kirschen
To be honest, I like the concept. It's a Runescaoe-themed signature with the main figure but extends to other shows/games. What do you plan to put in place of the other monsters exactly?
Star.
The characters below :P They're going to be facing outwards like they're a team. I just got done with adding some new things: The above image is quite messy so I took some time to fill in some of the lineart characters: The characters are, from left to right:Shou ToramaruFemale ShepardPikachuAbyssal MinionMy characterPinkie PieLinkSex Link gave me some trouble, that's why his lineart is all fuzzy and shit. I had to keep redoing him and even now he still isn't quite right. I have to make his legs less wimpy looking. Legs are hard to draw. I'm super pleased with how Shepard turned out, she looks almost perfect. I'm really proud with that. I want to add a few more characters. I don't want it too anime orientated but I wanted at least one magical girl in there. Might draw Sailor Moon in there later, on the right where there's a bit of testosterone otherwise I'm going with this line up. I will probably include minor characters like the High Five Ghost from Regular Show on there but I'm having a mind fart. Next step: Begin colouring the Pinkie Pie, Pikachu, Sex, My character or the abby minion in Illustrator. Fix anatomical errors (LEGS!) with Shepard, Shou and Link. Add High Five Ghost + anyone else I may remember. ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢
The_Critic
It's a nice concept, but isn't being pulled off very nicely from what I can see. To many things happening at once.Doesn't have "Polish". By that I mean it looks like you rushed the characters.Doesn't have a focal point.^Crtique of the first one. Alrighty, for the second one, it is much better but I still have some issues with it. Text looks amature. No noticable focal point. To many characters. The human characters need some more polish and work. Otherwise, you should continue. Good job.
