Gandorf61
Humble Indie Bundle 5 is out! LIMBOAmnesiaSword & SorceryPsychonautsBastion (If you pay above the average) http://www.humblebundle.com/ The HumbleIndie Bundle V Five incredible, best-selling games. Humble Indie Bundle V features five modern masterpieces and their soundtracks. Experience the fear and paranoia of Amnesia: The Dark Descent; the intensity and impact of LIMBO; the zany characters of Psychonauts; the future-retro, audiovisual concoction of Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP; and, for customers who pay more than the average price, the exquisitely crafted action-RPG, Bastion. Pay what you want. If you bought all these games and soundtracks separately, it would cost around $110. But we are letting you set the price! The games work great on Mac, Windows, and Linux (system requirements here). You can support charity. Choose how your purchase is divided: between the developers, the Child's Play Charity, or the Electronic Frontier Foundation. And if you like this deal, a tip to Humble Bundle would be much appreciated! [spoiler=Previous Post]Surprised there's not a topic about this yet. The Humble Indie Bundle 4 was just released recently and is only out for another week. For those who don't know it's a pay what you want system where you choose the price and how the money gets divided up between developers, charity, and the Humble Bundle site. As a bonus they've also included most of the Humble Bundle 3 games as well if you pay more than the average. Basically you get: Super Meat BoyJamestownShankBit.Trip RunnerNightsky HD And if you pay more than the average you also get: Gratuitous Space BattlesCave Story+Crayon Physics DeluxeCogsVVVVVVHammerfightAnd Yet It Moves I'd really recommend everyone to get it, it's an amazing deal. Pyramid Plunder Guide Tip.it Forum Rules Adventurer's LogThanks to Cowboy14 for the awesome sig! Maleficus1055
Bought it, but only paid a penny. I have people to shop for for Christmas, so I can't go spending money on other things. Tumblr. Follow me!
jasignhagj
Hmm, I have an old Visa gift card with a couple bucks on it, I guess I might as well pick this up.
Riku3220
I got this for $5.16, yeah, 1 cent above the average. :-w But I posted about it on Facebook so maybe somebody else will see it, buy some games, and spread the word.
Abc1230
Bought it for $5.16 because why not. One cent above average. Thanks for posting this thread, it's a great deal. Edit: Whoa, it's weird how similar my post was to riku's. YouTube
Demoli
Also, people who bought it before they announced the inclusion of HIB3 get the HIB3 games regardless of what they paid.
Racheya
Figured I'd buy this instead of drooling over all the deals on Steam. I've got a helluva lot more new games to try now :) Paid $5.20 which comes to £3.30-ish. I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator]. Overdoziz
Really enjoying NightSky. Click here to check out my Youtube channel!
Demoli
It now has a 1 dollar limit to get a steam key. As for the games itself, i already owned SMB, so i'll talk about the rest. Shank: Very enjoyable, while quite easy somtimes, the grab is just too much. Online co-op would be perfect, but oh well. Nightsky: hated it. It felt nothing special The puzzles weren't that hard, and, honestly, it felt like it just wasnt very good. Bit.trip.runner: Very enjoyable. Fun, fast, charming, i really liked it. Jamestown: My biggest surpsrise. It is really, really good. Fun, good looking, charmind, dificult and has a good soundtrack. Currently playing the HIB3
Gandorf61
Cave Story+ and Bit. Trip Runner are my favourites at the moment. There's just something about Cave Story that makes it really fun to play for an 8bit/16bit gameplay style game. It's simple but the story has been pretty good so far. Abc1230
What's the difference between Cave Story and Cave Story+? All I notice are the graphics and music. I thought I was getting a sequel :( YouTube
Racheya
Tried out Cave Story+, Bit.Trip Runner and NightSky. Found NightSky to be pretty and fairly entertaining, Bit.Trip Runner was amazing until I kept getting stuck on like the 3rd level and Cave Story+ was fairly fun until I kept dying barely 10 minutes into the game :P I'm sure I'll get better with a little practice :P I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. Crocefisso
I might buy this just for the sake of Cave Story+. Gandorf61
My jaw dropped opened when I saw the contents of the bundle this time. So many fantastic games I've been meaning to buy all in one! :D Will edit the OP to let others know. Pyramid Plunder Guide Tip.it Forum Rules Adventurer's LogThanks to Cowboy14 for the awesome sig! Demoli
I will not buy ti because i already have 4 out of 5, and i highly suggest all the games there are. Probably the best bundle out there. I just have 1 quip. Psychonauts isn't a indie game.
Albel
I took advantage of this. I am downloading them all at the moment. First game I shall play is Bastion. I've heard that it is an amazing game so I figured now would be the best time to try it out. Ouchy
Decided to buy this as I want to support the developers of Amnesia, and and I've wanted Limbo for a while. S&S is pretty cool, I'll play Psyconauts later this week probably. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages. Sprint
Bought this one just for Psychonauts, I already have Limbo and Amnesia. If you didn't have bastion, it's well worth it just for it. Bastion is an amazing game.
Racheya
I didn't have any of these games but I've always wanted to try Bastion, Amnesia and Limbo so I'm really chuffed - although I'm sure one or two might disappear off my steam eventually. I never did get around to playing all the games from the last bundle. I edit for the [Tip.It Times]. I rarely write in [My Blog]. I am an [Ex-Moderator]. sohkmj1
I haven't bought a Humble Bundle since the one with Shadowgrounds: Survivor. I've been pondering over this one. Might pick it up; I've heard great things about Bastion and Limbo (I think AtDD has a huge enough following).
Sprint
Trust me when I say, it's worth it for bastion alone.
sarg1010
Bastion was amazing. LIMBO was pretty good too, although I never finished it ([bLEEP]ING HEAD SLUGS). This may not have anything to due with the HIB5, but since this is the most active Steam thread atm, I figure I may as well put this here. I bought the King Arthur collection (heard #2 wasn't that great, but the first seems pretty cool), and pre-purchased Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. Sins looks AMAZING. I loved the origionals, especially Entrenchment (I love defensive play styles.) Can't wait till next week. Unfinished netherrack symbol of Khorne. Never forget. ~creeper face w/single tear~ DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?!
Sprint
Thought i'd post the update since nobody else has. Three new games have been added if you pay over the average. Super meat boy, Lone survivor, and Braid. And if you already payed over the average, you can get the games by going back to your humble bundle url.
