No parents came out and said "here that xbox is $300 dollars and it isn't anywheres close to Christmas so let me buy it for you" What are you talking about? Last time I checked you rely on your parents when you're a kid and stop relying on them when you're an adult. Not the other way around. Anyway, back in my day I used to spam a lot of message boards because I didn't know any better.
