Mmm a one off sacrifice... slightly better than I originally thought but I've not even done it once yet :(

I'm guessing with the new flasks, it will be easier to obtain?

Thinking I need to get another two capes, one to have until I get the better version, one for tzrek jad and one for the entry fee.

1) I hope the completionist cape gets updated to have +8.5 strength, or it will not be the best cape for melee anymore.

2) I like the one-time sacrifice more than one sacrifice per try, I dont have quite that many fire capes.

3) Two jads is going to be tough but if they are not in synch it should be alright. You can also trap one behind the other + walls and stand under them and barrage/chin them both :D (assuming there are borders in the new arena which would make sense I think).

@Sly: Jagex really put themselves in a corner with the way weapon speed and strength/attack bonusus interact. +4 ranged strength makes darts/knives so much stronger than crossbows. The same way, slow high dps weapons like Dharok's will always become weaker as better boots/gloves/rings etc. get released.

+8 strength? YES!!!

...Oh, wait. I don't melee. A part of me hopes Jagex didn't forget about mage or range again, but that's nothing more than wishful thinking.

Hey, mages/rangers aren't alone. They also seem to have forgotten about anyone with levels between 30 and 80

I will throw a brick at jagex tower window if the new quest has a prayer or summoning requirement.

If it is not completely impossible will defiantly be trying to do the new caves with 1 prayer. (will probably wait a bit before giving up my cape though :P )

Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod!

Yay!!! Another month of updates that are only useful for high level players.... I know it is good to have something to aspire too; but it would be nice to have an update that doesn't add to my to do list when I am higher level.

Having said that, the new boss on the Dominion tower sounds interesting, I may have to visit the Tower just to check that guy.

looking forward to make money with new flasks, that's like 50% more potions per trip and that is HUGE

You'd be surprised...

Usually you're not limited by anything but pots and familiars (runes/ammo being stackable). Bank time is 2-8 minutes. You can already last 1 hour at most places no problem with the best gear. With 50% more potion you can perhaps last 1.5-2 times as long (depending on which familiar you use, you'd last 1 extra pouch). You save 1 banking per two hours, that's 1-4 minutes per hour (2-5% kph) but you also lose money buying the flasks and time decanting your overloads etc.. So if the flasks go up too high you'd really be losing money.

Bank times:

Tds: 4-5 minutes, 1 hr trip

Glacors: 2, 1 hr trip (can do two I think)

Bandos god wars: 6?, 2-3 hr trip?

Nex: 5-6?, .5-1 hr trip?

Corp: 2, .5-1 hr trip

Dks: 10, 3 hr trip

Miths/crawlers/ganos: 3, 2 hr+ trips easy

Thats going to be the case with every applicable use for the flasks. Time to bank from whatever boss/task/camped monster vs price of flask/time to make flask.

Surely going allow more mistakes in current fight caves for less experienced players and more then likely REQUIRED for the new fight caves. Id assume would be used most for Nex/Gwd (kill count included in banking trip for gwd) or players with an abundance of cash that would prefer the extra invent spaces.

GWD/Nex banking doesn't take that long, don't forget Nex has no kc since you use robes, Bandos has goblins (level 12) and Zamorak has imps (level 7?). Saradomin/Armadyl take the longest but they're so very much not worth hunting anyway, I would consider them a more uncommon (or 'fun' if you will) use of flasks.

Duos are a lot easier now

Also trios should now get at least 3 kills a trip vs 2. This is a lot

I just hope that with the Dominion update, all the long waiting before an actual fight can be reduced.

Most of the fights go like:

Wait 1 minute for all animations.

Spec the boss out within 2 seconds...

Looks like a fun month!

But double jads? Really? I have enough problems killing 1 of them with my lag, now to kill 2 of them...

Looks like I'll get that cape another time...

There is an incredible amount of content for lvls 30-80...

Most of which is outdated, useless, or quests, and almost always only good for grinding to the 'real' rewards. It's like, "Yay, 55 herblore! I can... Make super strength potions at a heavy loss. "

It encourages players to train their skills, yes, but in the worst possible way. "How long until I can actually start playing?" is not really the reaction that you want your players to have when so many other games offer "Right away" as an answer.

Seriously looking like an awesome month in general. 6 dose potions? Win. New, more challenging fight caves? Win. Interesting looking new quest? Win.

Although I agree with Quyneux on increasing the strength bonus on the completionist cape, at least to match the new fire cape.
