stlboy07
Hey everyone... so I would really like to give the Fight Caves a shot, but I just don't think I have high enough combat stats or prayer level. What are your thoughts on this and what are you suggestions to raising my prayer level and my combat stats? Thanks in advance!
Tui
you COULD get it with your stats. but to make things easier, go get 80 range, 70 prayer, and 80 def.
stlboy07
Thanks for the advice, are there any other ways of getting to 70 prayer on a low low budget rather then getting bones and burying them? Also, what is a good weapon for training def?
M A T T Y Z
You could kill green dragons for the bones which doesn't require much money and the abyssal whip is always a reliable weapon for just about everything
arpar90210
Make sure that you use the dragon bones on a gilded altar too!
stlboy07
Looks like I need to get 75 con. So my next question, how well do mahogany planks sell??
blakdragon39
Rather than getting 75 con yourself, I know it used to be easy to find someone hosting an open house, where you could use their gilded alter. Check out the rsof, the events section or something I believe. Look for someone advertising an open house or gilded alter.
Laikrob
You could also use someone else's Gilded Altar to train prayer on. Some people keep their houses open when training prayer, to keep the burners lit longer and to help out those who don't have the level to make the altar. Try searching for an open altar or open house on the official forums, or make a topic on here, if you are more comfortable with that. You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?
Quyneax
If you were willing to practice a bit, you could melee the caves, which has some advantages (most notably, it's fast and you have lots of defence in melee armour). With piety and a chaotic rapier you could definitely make it. stlboy07
Awesome, thanks for the advice everyone! If you have anymore suggestions just post it! EDIT: So until I can get an SS, I was going to just use a d scim but when I looked at the stats on the d long it has better slash rating and strength training. But I always thought D scim was better for str training... thoughts???
Lord Paul
+2 slash, +5 str and it takes .6 seconds more per attack. Go with dragon scimitar. Working on max and completionist capes. 2435/2475
Arien
Well back before flasks were introduced you always get advised to get higher ranged cause with the inaccurate hits you will be dealing you will probly lose your potion supply before finishing the cave but if your willing to buy Diamond Bolts(e) and go with Potions flasks it is manageable on your current level.
