M A T T Y Z
Do jagex still respond to email's sent to this address and if so how long do you guys think would it take for them to get back to me, I fully understand that this is the only account support email that they have and hundreds of people would email them every day, but if anybody has actually used this to contact them before, how long did it take them to get back to you if they did at all? :wall:
Drazhor
Jagex never email your real email address as far as I know, they will only contact you on your Ingame email account.Although if you cannot access your account, try having the email send to an alternative email account that would not receive the spam/account stealing emails. Kaur
Usually takes around 3 days to get a response from there. Do not waste your time(and Jagex's) sending email of this type to them. You can not recover accounts via emailing jagex. This is the pretyped response you will get: Hi there, Thanks you for your email and your patience while weve been getting back to you. I understand that the issues youve been experiencing with the recovery of your account and the security of your password will be frustrating. Ive composed this email in the hope that it solves any issues youve had and gets you back in the game, that is after all, where we want you to be. First things first, I want you to clear your computer of any old data that may be hanging around in temporary files and/or its cache. Below are step by step guides on how to do this: Clearing Temporary Internet Files: WindowsInternet Explorer1. Open IE2. Click Tools3. Select the Internet Options4. If you have a registered email address, you will be asked to enter it. An email with a recovery link will be sent to that address. If you do not have a registered email address, cant remember it or no longer have access to it, click next twice and you will be taken to the Appeal Form. Fill out the Appeal Form in as much detail as possible, then click 'Send to Jagex'. The information we may need includes early passwords, billing details (if you have ever been a member), contact information and recovery answers. If you did not set any recovery questions, you can choose the option marked 'I did not set any recovery questions'. Just follow the on-screen instructions and provide as much information as you can remember. If you have recently submitted a recovery request and it was successful, be sure to check the junk/spam folder of your email for the confirmation. It is possible the email has been filtered there. M A T T Y Z
Thats terrible customer service, What does the cache have to do with anything anyway?
Kaur
Thats terrible customer service, What does the cache have to do with anything anyway? They blacklist you after a certain amount of failed appeals and auto-decline all appeals coming from you. Clearing cache, changing ip and using a different email bypasses that.
M A T T Y Z
Well, iv'e got about 30 failed appeals :L, is it neccesary to change i.p's or just computers?

M A T T Y Z
Still being nearly instantly denied. Cleaned cache and browsing files, same old thing: Previous Passwords The passwords you gave us did not provide us with enough evidence to say you are the owner of the account. You will need to provide correct passwords to prove your ownership. If you are sure that the passwords you provided are correct, we will need earlier ones to be able to accept your appeal, the creation password would be best! The earlier the details, the faster we can get you back into game. If you believe your current password is known by someone else, please supply an earlier password. Click Here if you wish to submit your request again with new information. Everything else is correct including recoveries(which are pretty much pointless)
