Its a really cool mix up of say, Call of Duty and Minecraft. You're a soldier on the battle field, where you can dig foxholes or build a fort with blocks. You also have a choice of 3 guns (for now, with it being beta maybe more later) which include a semi-auto rifle, SMG and shotgun. Also grenades. I couldn't quite work out the objective of the game due to there being no actual instructions. That said, it was incredibly fun. It reminded me a bit of the hillbreak maps on CSS but on a much larger scale. Some of the maps were truly impressive. I might play a little more later tonight. Want to be my friend? I might play a little more later tonight.Theres only 2 game modes at the moment, CTF and something else. I don't play for the goals, I just play to kill. It's very fun to shoot at stuff, especially if you download a sniper skin with a scope. Coming from CSS, it feels very similar in terms of mechanics except the enemies have bigger heads so easier kills haha. I've been playing the patient game on most maps, taking my time digging massive tunnels and taking the enemy intel from right under their noses. If you dig one block underneath the intel, you can grab it without exposing yourself. I've been turning into a tunnelling rat, totally surprising the enemies at every turn. I just wish I could screenshot the scale of my tunnels, but they are underground so wouldn't really work haha. Want to be my friend? I mean if they had a pickaxe or something that worked at a faster speed than the shovel then yeah, it would be tons better. It will destroy the three blocks in front of you, very quick for tunnelling. they are also apparently changing it's strength with the next update to make the left click destroy blocks in 2 hits. There is a 'ground level' on all levels that you can't go through. On levels with water, it's the blocks above the water. Want to be my friend? The tunneling is very sneaky although at one point I covered up the entrance to get some health and ended up forgetting where it was. Island is such a fun map, but after an hour and a half of 10v10, it really turns to crap. I was on blue (had to reconnect and got stuck on green when taking the pics), and built the huge fort you can see to the left. I've never seen a map in this much of a mess before. This map was simply a beach island, without hills, mainly flat when it started. The only structures were some huts in each base. [spoiler=The map just before I left] [spoiler=The battlefield] [spoiler=My fort] My fort was larger at one point but was ravaged by the fighting. I also built a gigantic sniper tower, and about 5 of us were on the various floors of it. Unfortunately the enemy knocked it down. Want to be my friend?
