Any suggestions?? Ugh.. 300$ dollars not gonna get anything more than integrated graphics. The new AMD a-series notebooks are good price-performance wise the cheapest Ive seen on neweeg were at ~400ish would look at them if you have gaming in mind. JPMC Mate
As said above, $300 won't get you anything good for rs in a laptop. A desktop for $300 might, however. Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.
stevepole
I'd agree with Fire, you'd get much better system if you choice to go with a desktop.
Gandorf61
Even with a desktop, unless you have a monitor, peripherals, and an OS already you'll be hard pressed to come up with something really worth the money put into it. Of course for the OS there's always Linux but even still $300 doesn't stretch far. I'd recommend saving up around $600 to get a mediocre laptop or a fairly decent desktop. Lord Paul
A year ago, I bought my laptop for $450 dollars, and it works pretty good for me. Granted, it was regularly $800 and I wish that I had gotten more RAM, but eh. Danqazmlp
I wouldn't immediately say $300 is too little for a fairly decent laptop as long as you get one refurbished. Although i'm not sure on where to get refurbished Laptops in America, I've brought two from PC-World here in the UK and both have worked fine so far, so reliability isn't an issue. I don't particular know what it takes to keep up with runescape these days, but the following has fairly decent specs for its price: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/hp-pavilion-dm1-4027sa-refurbished-11-6-laptop-silver-12041404-pdt.html Want to be my friend? JPMC Mate
Thanks a lot guys! If a desktop is better choice then which will you reccomend? I have all the other peripherals Intel G630 $80http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116406This beats A LOT of the AMD GPUs out right now. ASUS P8H67-V (REV 3.0) ATX Motherboard $105http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131783 Crucial Ballistix Sport 2x2GB RAM DDR3 1333MHz $23http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148541Crucial has the lowest failure rates of any ram out right now. They have been around the longest as well. Radeon 6570 1GB $60http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102934This should run RS fine after Jagex fixes the FPS issues. Do you have a spare optical drive and hard drive to use? Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base.
