Danqazmlp
Hey guys, it's time for the new F1 season, which means time for a new signature and avatar. I've already found myself an avatar, but need some help with a signature. The following is the picture I'm looking to use: However, I'm unsure if this will be use-able due to the smoke. If not, the following picture will suffice: What I'm looking for is something similar to my current signature, except with a change of the subject car. I'm looking to keep to the same rough dimensions, so only really the car will feature in the signature. I'm also looking to keep it the signature black and white if possible when using the first picture, but if using the second picture this isn't the case. The rest is really up to you, but I really want to keep the sense of speed that both pictures bring with them. Want to be my friend? stevepole
I kind of have a rough idea of something that might look cool. What time period is the first picture from? Is it a particular driver?
Danqazmlp
It's Graham Hill, 1963 in Monaco, where he won the race. Both pictures are of him, but the second is much later. stevepole
Ok I need to know if I'm working in the right direction.. My original idea didn't really develop so I've been more or less focusing the b/w car, Graham, & speed. I'm going to continue working on it throughout the day, since I don't really feel like I've got it yet.. What I've done so far.. need c/c http://tvhandy.imgur.com/danq/
Danqazmlp
I really like the middle two, with the trophy picture. Of the two, the one with only one car in the left part looks better as it doesn't cut off much whereas the other one lacks a bit of focus. I'm not overly keen on the ones with the close-up picture because it seems a little too close to his face, which makes it harder to make out. That said, the right direction indeed, I would actually say you don't need to do any more to them as the one with the trophy and single car is almost perfect, but if you are having fun doing so I won't stop you. stevepole
Since you liked the one with car/trophy, I simply just went ahead and redid it to match the dimensions of your current signature. http://i.imgur.com/zqXeV.jpg If you want any chances, just let me know. Danqazmlp
Thanks, I'm really liking the signature. What's quite cool is that (you probably didn't know this) but the trophy picture is actually Jim Clark, but it' actually quite good that it is, as combined with my avatar of John Surtees, it's a celebration of British racing legends. Big thank-you for the signature, I'll wear it with pride. (and give you credit of course). Want to be my friend? stevepole
I had a feeling he wasn't Graham due to the lack of a mustache. I'm glad you like it!
