Forgetting things to do because there is so much to do

It often happens to me that I simply forget to do things I wanted to do or planned to do in Runescape.

For example:

- who of you sometimes forget to use the O'oglog pools when they could be useful?

Happens to me all the time...

- who of you just forgets certain monsters exist like for example the chaos elemental because they are now better monsters to hunt?

I often have a (nostalgic) feeling like: Oh yes, that's true...

- who still knows or uses regularly the rarely used transportation methods like eagles/gnome gliders or Rantz'kids between Feldip and Karamja because there are better alternatives now?

- who remembers to do all the possible daily/weekly/monthly activity all the time?

For me I completely forgot to do Bork the last 2 months or even the circus although it's announced in many banks...

- who planned to play certain minigames when they were released only to never play them again after the initial trial or even never got around trying them?

Vinesweeper/Flash powder factory/Conquest...

There must be areas that you haven't visited for ages or monsters that you never ever killed because you outlevelled them too fast.

Which area is it for you? Which monsters were you planning to kill but in the end never did because you had other thing to do?

I know these are a lot of questions but I am curious to your answers to several ones because sometimes I think of the sheer amount of content there is and what I still want to accomplish that I get overwhelmed and stand idle at the ge instead, lol...

Whenever you see someone in a skillcape, you should yell: EMOTE !!

Some people use the Runescape Tool Bar that tells them what D&Ds they haven't done for the week.

The reason that you don't ever play some of those minigames is because you either don't find them fun or nobody *ever* plays them.

What I always experienced: If you don't do something, you most likely have something else to fill your time with. For most of us, there simply isn't enough play time in a week to do all ''daily things etc etc''. Therefor we drop them ;)

I did sometimes go out of my way to do something I haven't done in a while, just because I like to keep things fresh. It's the reason I was never able to train something more then an hour on end haha.

I haven't ever done jade vine, haven't done the rag and bone man thing, and neglect Bork a LOT. But I'll do that today. And haven't done Tears in a long time. Don't really care about running down there for hunter xp.

The daily/weeklies/monthlies I try to keep up with are 4-6 Jack of trades lamps a week, pengs every week, troll invasion, usually buy bstaves while at Xuan. And some farming runs.

Labo, if you want to add a poll, you can pm me and I'll help you with it and then move it to questionnaires since that will be the purpose of the thread. For the time being, there is discussion going on about this, so it's fine in General Discussion.

--------------

I haven't done penguins in the past month after never missing more than a few weeks since they came out. Other than that, I pretty much do the more profitable dailies every day and that's about it. (Naff, assisting, JoAT, farming)

Working on max and completionist capes.

I never did Bork except to unlock WGS, I think I skipped the circus for about a year and sometimes I'll just forget about herb runs. I do really like the RS toolbar reminders, probably the first useful toolbar I've ever come across.

Since I got 99 farm, I cut down on herb farming (picked it up recently) and since I got temple trekking / livid farming, I neglected a lot of dailies. I ususally do staffs, JoaT (bought it recently) essence from wicked hood, Bork (every other day or so) and the vine.

Also buy feathers (Lodestone teleport yay!) and unf bolts at slayer master.

Y4es, still pretty much

Dungeoneering becomes fun at around level 100. What happened to you has happened to me :P

Imo, it's important to forget about the worse methods. Letting Jagex get away with adding shat tons of content that will eventually get unused or forgotten about? That's the true issue.

Update the older stuff a bit to make it more competing with the newer, gad durn it@@

Also, I will eventually have a suggestions thread describing a few things that'd be useful to update :P.

Rantz' kids! Sure did forget those...

I keep forgetting/postponing Tears of Guthix and assists mainly, and sandstone at times...

For me it's penguin hunting. I never do it unless I'm working on some skill goal and happen to remember those penguins exist.

Besides that, I do Tears of Guthix whenever I remember, which isnt' often.

And those two are the weekly tasks I do the most. Other things like Skeletal Horror or Bork I completed once and never really planned to return.

I will do most DnD that reward generous experience and money, because I just dont have the time to do efficient training or money farming.

Daily (when possible)- wheel of squeal -> jack of all trades (depends on the timer) -> jade vine -> varrock battlestaff -> myarm's herb patch -> ardougne pure essences and wicked hood teleport -> barkriminel bolts -> 1000 broad tip bolts -> ???

Weekly - tears of guthix / penguin points / circus / misc kingdom management / thieves guild

Monthly - Troll raid

Definitely wont miss the weekly and monthly, but I really hate how tears of guthix and thieves guild works. It would be much easier to manage if all weekly resets on wendesday.

For daily, jade vine is my no.1 priority, just because slayer exp is really tough to get.
