It wasn't what I was expecting, and I'd be alright with that normally, but even this was a little dull. Remember when subtlety was key? The whole point was to get people's interest, I would say they succeed even if the actual event may have been the most impressive. Are people less or more interesting in Runespan now? This was a teaser, much like the Strange Power was for Dungeoneering, or, as mentioned, ghosts for Summer's quest series... Both were updates that were not expected...It was also like the chunks of castle found all over RS (as well as an occasionally burnt chicken), a teaser for Citadels, something we DID know was coming... You know what people did back then?Exactly the same thing you guys are doing now: Whining and screaming and crying like babies...Only they didn't do it because they didn't like what they got, but they did it cuz they missed some of the events in question... The "OMG I WUZ WANTING TO SEE DA STINCH POWAH TOO!!!" idiots are the same as the idiots that now cry dissapointment with their "IS THIS IT? I WANT MY 15 MINUTES BACK!"... Granted, something that says "See the Future" could set you up for a whole bunch of dissapointment, but Jagex threw you a bone by announcing when and where this teaser would happen so noone would have to miss it... If you've read the devblog (yes, why inform yourself these days :rolleyes: ) you knew RuneSpan is going to be big enough to be teaser-worthy. If you expected anything else, or even expected to be able to play RuneSpan right away, YOU are being the moron... Now can we get back on topic and discuss the RuneSpan, and leave the whining at the door? This isn't the RSoF...
