So I've been bad lately and not updating as much here :(.

 

Since last update I have gotten:

• 80M Thieving experience (thieving now on hold until 50M defence and slayer)
  
• 50M Magic experience (mining/superheating right after EoC)
  
• 40M Defence experience (slayer after EoC)
  
• Just shy of 36M Slayer experiene
  

Here is a current look of where I stand with my 50M base goal:

 

 

I want to finish up 50M Defence and Slayer first, while doing this I plan to fish during the week when I'm busy. I'll be flyfishing at Barbarian Village and if I have time will do Fish Flinger games every 20 minutes. This can average 110k fishing experience an hour so hop to make fair progress towards 50M fishing along the way. After 50M slayer I have a list of a few goals I want to achieve and not positive on the order:

• Finish making the money for 50M Prayer and Farming
  
• 50M Prayer
  
• 200M Thieving
  

I think I'll make the 300-350M for 50M prayer and farming first, then restart my daily tree runs (put on hold again to ensure enough cash for 50M slayer), and hammer out 200M thieving after. The reason I'm pushing 200M thieving is there is still a chance for a decent 200M rank in thieving. After that it will be 50M prayer time and after that it is likely mining and smithing.

Still skilling along, but once again changed things up. I've decided to finish off 200M thieving first, would really like to secure a nice rank there and I really enjoy thieving. Not to mention its fairly nice experience too.

 

So official now, I'm on the hunt for 200M thieving and currently have about 113M to go. I'll be aiming for 10-15M experience in it a week so will be about three months to do it. I'll be switching between traders and pyramid plunder depending on how motivated I am. I really need ibis for traders so will try to force myself there a lot more then usual so I can get the set before I'm too far into the goal.

 

As for my 50M base goal, it will no doubt still be there. I actually recently got 25M fishing experience, but the slowness of the skill bores me XD, will likely crawl it up to 50M will fish flingers a few times a week.

What xp/h do you get at traders with and without aura? (assuming you do them without aura too)

I'm getting right around a 240k average experience over about 50M experience there, without ibis, abyssal lurker, or gloves of silence. A clan mate doing them with me says he gets closer to a 300k average with all of that, but honestly I think that is a bit of a high estimate. Pretty much put it on par with pyarmid plunder with experience rates, but a lot more loafable, I honestly read or watch tv while doing it most of the time just spamming "5" on mousekeys. Its also about 0.5 gp/exp profit XD.

Been bad about updating more often (as usual) but in some defense, thieving makes it hard to post stuff :P. Now that finals are over I've gotten a chance to actually nolife some thieving and should pass the 110M mark in thieving today.

 

My goal is 2.5M days in thieving, adding up to a 75M month. This will put me about 15-20M shy of 200M when I start spring classes, but should be able to wrap up before the semester swings into full gear. The past week I've been doing 3 hours of plunder and then 1 hour of dwarf traders with my aura. I really want to finish off ibis and I would love to get my last piece today. So far I've gotten (in order) a SOTG, Ibis top, Ibis pants, and then Ibis boots and just missing the mask now. So far about 20M theiving experience total for those 4 pieces, would like to finish the set in 25M total experience.

You can have it now ;) Finally after 20 hours of pyramid plunder after getting boots (my 3rd piece) I got the mask. Will never do plunder again if I can help it lol, total of about 100-120 hours for all 5 pieces (sotg+ibis, getting sotg first). Will post a screenshot of the mask later, have to upload it and lazy atm. I am 87M from 200M right now and plan to spend the rest of it at dwarf traders. Will do some calculating of experience per hour with full ibis now.

Grats to you though. :). Do you pay to distract the guards at Dwarf Traders? When I tried pick-pocketing dwarfs for a task a long time ago, I had the hardest time ever when I didn't pay..

Yeah I had a horribly hard time doing that much pyramid plunder. I actually watched the first four seasons of supernatural doing it, only way I could stand it XD.

 

I lure the guards into the side rooms, so I don't have to bribe them continuously and don't have to worry about them attacking me. It is really what makes trades decent, EOC actually made them easier to lure as you can lure 4 at a time instead of just 1 at a time.

Sooooooo its not like I disappeared for 6 months or anything like that. I blame life, biochemistry, marriage, and graduation. But! I am back to scape a little bit. Currently job hunting and in the bored waiting period so passing the days where I'm sitting here staring at my phone I decided I'll play a bit of runescape again. Started back about a month ago and finally finished the 200M thieving that I had planned to be done by January XD

annndddd here is the ending profits from about 50mil to 200mil thieving:

 

 

 

 

 

Plus around ~30mil in cash, gives me about 120M total from the traders. Selling the seeds, bars, and ores was a bit rough, some went way under and some actually went over market value. I'd say total I got out about 110M profit total and in total I did about 120M experience at traders so pretty close to 1:1 gp/exp. I also got 6 of the new special crystal key chest thingies and averaged 1 key in 3mil experience at the traders. Sadly no dragonstone armor from them though

 

 

 

 

 

Currently I'm bouncing between slaying, farming, and afking runespan. Really not many current goals, not sure how long I'll be playing but figured I'd atleast close out the story of this 200M. If I do continue playing I'll likely aim towards 200M runecrafting while working on slayer and farming and just see where it takes me

Offtopic, why I was away for 6 months this time:

 

 

 

 

Was super burned out with college my final semester and because of that I screwed myself in biochemistry. I did very little the first month or so and because of that I had to dig myself out of a massive hole that my grade as in. Officially a college graduate now though and I'm super burned out. Five years total of college now for an associates of arts, a bacholars of science (chemistry) and two minors to go with it (math and history). I also wrote a thesis over my research I've posted about on here that I think turned out well, even though it was shorter than it was suppose to be. I hope within a year my research will get published in a larger project that it had evolved into. I graduated on May 4th and on May 11th I finally got married to my long time girlfriend of four years.

 

Now I'm in the horrible waiting period of trying to get a job. My goal is to take a year off of college and work with my degree. Currently I plan to go back for my PhD after a year off, but will see how things go. Sadly its been 2 weeks without a call back so I'm super discouraged. Not sure what to do currently, just no lifing my day through Runescape and SW:TOR. Wife is also trying to get me to play Rift with her too XD.

I'm basically all over the place with my experience gains the last few days, pretty much doing a bit of everything and nothing keeping my attention for too long. I have like 100k-300k experience in each skill at this point nearly.

 

Right now I'm money making from farming (lantas+super sara brews) along with daily tree runs

 

I did some Curly Root burning for the new Crown of the Season parts without a great amount of luck

 

I tried some c2 fishing since I still half want 50M in all skills, was okay but not sure how hardcore I could do it.

 

I afk Runespan when playing other games or other stuff.

 

I made 300 Juju Farming potions so that got me like 150k hunting experience.

 

I've also been slaying here and there.

 

Sooooo I'm all over the place still, most likely I'm going to stick to slaying, afking runespan, and curly roots for any luck at crown of the season parts.

Did some more curly roots this morning, but switched to slayer by the afternoon. Got a slayer task of ~52 Black Dragons so decided I'd do QBD for them, which then took up the rest of my afternoon. Was a bit of a learning curve for me, I started meleeing and broke bank getting two drygore maces XD, did about 10 kills that way and decided I didn't like it, so I switched to blood barraging and liked that worlds better. I also think I got much faster kills maging than I did meleeing. Took me about 4 and half hours total. Spent amount 5mil (10k bloods, and ~400 rocktails) and ended up with this:

 

 

+ 1.1M in coins

 

So 6M profit in 4 and half hours of a slayer tasks. Not bad was a good change up for slayer for me. Tomorrow I plan to do more slayer, aiming to finish off 50M defense, which is 2M away.

Been a few days since I've updated. I've been rotating between slayer, runespan, and fishing. I'm going to mainly attempt to slay and fish, as they are both 50Ms I need. Before today I was getting in barrage slaying and was actually going through upwards of 20k runes a day (deaths and bloods). Sadly the update today sorta crushed that buzz, but I'm slowly working back into it. Also trying to coax myself into using abilities on single target tasks for a a bit more speed.

Actually tried a task of them out after I read your post just to see how they are now (honestly hadn't done a task of them since EoC). They die very fast, but didn't give that much slayer experience per kill (want to say in the 115 exp range) so makes them a bit on the slow side imo. I've been well in the positive side on slayer points, so usually I stick to tasks I enjoy and have plenty of points left over for tasks I think are alittle slow or just don't enjoy.

 

On that note I spent the majority of the day slaying. Was going to rant that starting today I was 3.7M slayer experience without an effigy, but I finally broke that dry streak and got 3 total effigies today, all from Ice Worms. Passed 42M slayer experience today. Also have been breaking even slaying as well, which is a bit unexpected for me. I'd like if I could even make it so I make a bit of profit, but don't want to cut into the speed too much. If I can manage to get a set of sea singer robes from ports I'd be more game to do Zammy GWD for Greater Tasks and will even consider learning KK for kalphite tasks to add profit. Will have to see :P
