Which is more efficient: Dragon scim w/ glory + D defender or Obby sword w/ zerker necklace + D defender?

Slayer Drops: 14 whips, 22 D boots, 27 Granite Mauls, 42 Effigies, 5 Dark Bows.

What would be cool is if Drakan and his minions kill all the sig heroes in the quest except Raptor who is wrecking. You and him team up and cave in some vampyre heads. He becomes a total bro in future quests and in a GM quest he receives a fatal injury and his last dying words to you are "Brofist, mang"

+78 strength bonus for the first one and +62 for the second one. out of curiosity why did you pick these two configurations and why are you only concerned with comparing these three items?

Amulet of glory + d scim at 70 str (i assume this is for a pure?) gives a max hit of 177

 

Obby sword with berserker necklace is 187. Assuming you use other grear (and why wouldnt you) and considering the berserker neclace has one more str than a glory anyways youre better off with the obby sword (as long as accuracy isnt an issue).

 

@jj please research before you post misinformation. Berserker necklace makes the dame done by obsidian weapons 20% more powerful which will benefit any other equipment bonuses more for the obby sword than the d scim. In the end the raining period where you would use either weapon is so small due to unlocking new netter weapons that its not a huge amount of time saved but its still not ok to give wrong info.

zerker neck is a max roll mod isn't it? So it's entirely useless for slayer.

 

My experience has been its a 20% damage boost like the way a salve ammy works.

 

But yes its worthless for slayer. Bottom line is he wont be at 60-70 attack for long enough for the choice to make a significant difference in his time spent training.

@tieszen I didn't read his post carefully enough. I thought he said he would be using a glory on both and I didn't see him say he had a zerker necklace so naturally I just assumed it was a comparison between the scim and I obby sword. I guess it's my fault and I should have read it more carefully.

Woah, didn't think I'd get this many responses. It's not for me, it was for my lazy friend who didn't want to post himself, who is a lower level. And yes, he mostly slays, so the scim would be better. Thanks everyone :)
