Few areas I need some help with

Construction

Current Level - 23

Target Level - 50

Knowledge/Experience - None whatsoever

With construction I just wanted the most efficient way of reaching my target. I've never spent more than an hour doing this particular skill so I have no idea whether I do like it or not. I guess I've just found it a difficult skill to get any sort of routine with (probably because of the cost mainly)

Hunter

Current Level - 34

Target Level - 60

Knowledge/Experience - I have very little knowledge in this but I know when I have done it I've enjoyed it :)

Compared to construction I haven't struggled to get into this skill it's just I don't have enough knowledge to make the most of it. I'd like some advice on the best areas to go and the best techniques to use.

Summoning

Current Level - 11

Target Level - 50

Knowledge/Experience - None

I don't understand this skill the slightest and need some in depth advice on what to combine, where to get resources and when to move on from one area to another

Farming

Current Level - 28

Target Level - 50

Knowledge/Experience - I have a basic knowledge of this skill. I understand how the different patches work and the different levels and value of seeds

I struggle with this skill the most because I hear people make quite a bit of money from it but I've only ever seemed to lose out with it. I'd like to know if there's any routines where you keep the time between waiting for each seed to grow and planting the next one occupied rather than teleporting around looking for another patch to start up while the other one grows.

Herblore

Current Level - 33

Target Level - 50

Knowledge/Experience - I think I have more of an understanding of this skill than any of the others mentioned above.

Where I feel lost with this skill is the fact that I don't feel I'm earning sufficient experience as I progress through the levels as I stick to making the same potions and wouldn't know where the next step is to gain more experience, faster and at a lower cost.

I'm looking for experienced people in each area to advise me on this as I feel my problem is I''ve focused too much on little pieces of advice that are impacting my efficiency in levelling each skill as I stick with those pieces of advice and have no idea where to move on. I currently have around 10mil in my bank and will probably only tackle one of these skills at a team to reach their target, unless it is more suitable to do two or three of these skills simultaneously.

Thanks for any help you guys can give it's really appreciated :)

I don't know how much you know, so I'll just tell you everything. Please don't think I'm being condescending, I'm just trying to help.

Construction:

First, you'll want to buy some planks and nails off the grand exchange. Each plank gives 33 xp and costs 312 gp. You'll also need around 2 nails per plank, though you can always buy/sell them as necessary. Next, purchase a house from an estate agent (there are several across RuneScape Varrock, Falador, Seer's Village), and go to the house portal in Rimmington. When you do, click where it says something along the lines of "enter house in building mode". Right click one of the white, ghostly-looking doors and build a parlour (costs 1000 gp iirc). Start building the best chair you can until you get to 22 construction, then build a dining room and start building oak dining tables. Each table uses 4 oak planks, so make sure you go to the grand exchange and get them (you won't need nails anymore). At 33 construction, build a kitchen and make oak larders (8 oak planks each). Keep building oak larders until you reach your goal.

To clarify, when I say make, I mean right click the hotspot, select build, build the desired object, and remove it.

The best way to bank is to have a butler withdraw planks from your bank. You need 2 bedrooms to purchase a butler. You can purchase a butler from the servant's guild in northern Ardougne.

Hunter:

I'm not sure if this is the best at low levels, but hunting swamp lizards (requires 29 hunter) found outside of Canifis should be good. You need a rope and a net to set up a trap. When a lizard is caught, you can release it immediately, or wait till your inventory is full and bank them. At 47 hunter, you'll want to move to the area north of Nardah and hunt orange salamanders. The process is similar to swamp lizards, except these aren't worth keeping. At 59, move to red salamanders (near the zmi altar).

Wear desert camo for the orange salamanders. Camo doesn't affect the other two (despite what some people believe).

Remember that you can set up more than one trap at a time.

Summoning:

The gist of summoning is that monsters drop gold, green, crimson, and blue charms. These are combined with shards (cost 25 gp at any summoning store), a blank pouch (1 gp at any summoning store), and a secondary ingredient (usually purchased from the grand exchange) to make powerful familiars. Some familiars help you hold extra items, some help in combat, some heal you, and some help you skill. There really aren't any useful ones at low levels, though.

You can use the tables in the official Tip.It guide to see what each pouch requires.

The best way to gather charms is just through normal slaying.

Farming:

You know the basics of this skill I guess, so I won't say too much. Most profit comes from farming snapdragon or torstol herbs. Fruit and regular trees are expensive and are mostly done for xp.

Don't stand around while waiting for a plant to grow. Go do something else and come back when it's done (Tip.It has good estimations on their site).

Herblore:

Generally, make the cheapest potion that gives good xp.

Grimy Bunyip has a good spreadsheet on the gp/xp of herblore:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AldEhLOK6ejJdGxma1R3NlNOS1F2UEpMNUY4MU11Rmc#gid=0

Basically, you want to make a potion with a low number in the gp/xp column. Only look at the section near the bottom called Unfinished -> Potions. Negative numbers mean you lose money, so try to make ones that are around -4 to -8 gp/xp.

Farming is done in runs, each 75 minutes (roughly).

Make sure too visit all herb patches. first major herb to farm is ranarr. As for profitable farming, do the fairy tale 1 quets for magic secateurs (+10% yield when harvesting) use super compost al the time. Farming marigolds is good (though low xp), and they offer good profit.

Do ""My Arm´´s`` quest as it unlocks an additional, disease free herb patch.

As said, quest rewards can offer you great jumps in levels at the moment.
