Zierro
Made this the other day. It's good to splurge and make some 'expensive' food once in a while even then you're on a student's budget.Steak - Rare, seasoned with rock salt and freshly ground pepperPortabella Mushroom cap - stuffed with bacon, swiss and mozza cheesesTwice Baked Potatoe - Stuffed with bacon, sour cream, swiss and mozza, butterWashed down with an ice cold beer DAMN. I hate having too much food in my sandwiches. I prefer mostly bread and a small amount of 'other' in the middle. I learned my lesson from the last sandwich I had. One slice of each type of meat (with an exception to the pepperoni) is perfect. Guest Rob
I can't stand sandwiches with too much bread. I like having a lot of whatever meat I'm using, and just enough bread to hold it together.
Assume Nothing
What cut of steak was it? When I splurge, I get porterhouse/filet mignon with a lobster baked with cheese too. Linguine Carbonara with extra cheese is good too. Medium rare makes the steak a little warmer with a more subtle texture, whereas rare just tastes like raw meat. enfield
aww, sweedish fish at 4 in the morning. That makes me slightly nostalgic of when I ate tons of them on road-trips. Now I'm on paleolithic diet though, which just means I emulate how the paleo man (in the paleolithic era, before agriculture) ate, in order to (hopefully) optimize health. And so now if I see someone sipping a soda, or rummaging in a bag of candy, and if they don't look threatening, I get the urge to deftly slap it out of their hand, but i've never followed through. My_Eggs
My mom picked up this fruit at Walmart the other day: Then she left town to visit her mom before she got a chance to eat it. She said it is an "apple pear". I'd never heard of it before but I decided to eat it to see how it tasted. The flesh of the fruit is white and the first few bites didn't really have any taste at all, though it was very juicy. As I made my way around the fruit I got to a spot where the flesh was kind of brownish. I saw the color after biting into that spot and hesitated chewing for a moment. My first thought was "Hmmm, is this area of the fruit starting to go bad?". I chewed the bite that was in my mouth a little bit and wow.... It was amazing! The area that was kind of brown was even more juicy than the white parts and it was so sweet I could hardly believe it. Definitely in my top 3 favorite fruits now. 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
Guest Rob
After preparing a few meals, I now believe the taste of most foods can be improved with onion and/or bacon. I'm eating hamburger helper right now. I used 3 glasses of milk, 3 strips of cut up bacon, half of a yellow onion, and ground beef/noodles. This is delicious. Siobhana
Ty, honestly I'm very wary, but heck. Nothing tried, nothing gained right? And trying to take advantage of the weather which is pretty much the perfect 5-15C these days. I want to try curing a ham one day, but better start small :-) Ty Jeppoz for making it. Never had a milkshake before, but from the looks of the ingredients, that looks extremely delicious to try out. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to make one. :( @Crocefisco: The texture and angle of that looks like a piece of sausage.

Kirschen
I guess I should mention that I never had the following things:-Pie (big sin here, I know)-Burgers (I don't know why. Likely because I am a minimalist when it comes to food).-guacamole. Plus I haven't ate a pancake in over 6 months. I really need to be saved.
