No more Bonus XP weekends

Disclaimer: SoF arguments belong on the other tread and not this one. Just stating this because I don't want to have two topics with raging SoF opinions I would rather not read or visit especially since I like discussing future updates.

On another note there is quite a lot to be gleaned from this picture, what was stated about solomon and what was stated about an upcoming second wheel for F2Pers. Jagex may be offering us a whole different teaser for something not mentioned. The issue is that if you made an educated guess the chances are that Solomon is going to be our new host for this second wheel. From there everything falls into place... We might see new clothing on only Solomon's wheel, we know players have a slightly silent but strong resentment towards not getting cosmetics more easily from the SoF. The most likely fix for this would be having a cosmetics wheel with a fairly common chance of getting access to it... Which would make sense as Solomon is into fine clothing... Yada yada yada.

I quit a while before the first bonus xp weekend, so I didn't see its effects on the economy. Not surprised Jagex stopped doing them, though, even if there is a lot of resentment in the community from people without 95/99 herblore or 99 agility.

I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex is making new training methods, or are developing concepts for them. I can see how Jagex could make a new agility course that incorporates EoC hotkeys and is more reactive, instead of the static and repetative obstacles of today.

Considering 2x exp cards was next in line for Maplestory RWT (gambling, cosmetic shop being first), they will be selling the 2x exp soon enough instead of doing bonus weekends, which will "make everyone happy" because "some people couldn't log on the weekends, this allows you to use your bonus exp any time!"

Or those investors are just too predictable. Shame that they fit the same template of RWT to every game they pollute with there greed I mean 'invest' in. Not every game has to have RWT elements to be profitable, not when they have recurring membership fees.

Yes, but RWT almost always leads to additional profits, which is what venture capital firms look for. It's a very smart business move, and as a business, I don't blame them for doing it. It's just too bad they have to ruin the product for the consumers by doing it :(

Unfortunately, players have proven time and time again that they are willing to pay their way ahead. There has been a RWT element in the game for years, the main difference is now it's getting legitimized.

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Just a shame that people feel the need to buy there way ahead on game that quite frankly can't see being here in another 4-5 years. I really do pity these people.
