when does a skill stop being "low?"

Low Levelled

I personally believe it varies from skill to skill. Some skills don't really have any perks at level 99 other than having a cape. I'd say 80, or even 85+ in all skills would classify as not low to me anymore.

Some pretty impressive player vs monster achievements.

I've had fifty two sigils since release of corporeal beast.

I've had sixty three drops from Nex in under six months.

Close to 3 billion gold from doing player vs monster.

Honestly it varies from skill to skill. Harder / more expensive skills stop being low earlier on. As a staple though, personally, i'd say a skill isn't low anymore when it's between 75 and 85 (75 being for prayer, expensive, 85 being for fm/cook, easy). And anything over 92 would be high, in my opinion. However these are just my perceptions on it. It varies from skill to skill, and also how you personally see each of them.

I used to think that 30 was really high for a skill. I remember starting out and the only skill I could get on the high scores with level 30 was Runecrafting. I trained specifically to 30 for that.

Then I thought all skills 50+ was really high skills. I don't really think that's true anymore.

I currently have all skills 60+, but I still feel like I need to go higher.

I think right now, for me, all skills 75+ can be considered high. It's over 1mil exp in each skill. You really would have the basics down for training any skill by then.

Those are just my thoughts...

I'd say whenever the last useful benefit/training method/whatever of the skill is obtained (so like 96 for herb, 95 for prayer, 99 for combats, etc.)

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

For me...

At 80 your skill is no longer low. At 90 you're starting to get somewhere. At 99 you get a pat on the back. At 99 everything you get a nod of approval. At comp cape you get an evil glare, because I am jelly. Oh dungeoneering, why you no give decent solo exp :-| I would have comp cape right now if it wasn't for dg, I've all the other reqs...

2480+ total
