Suicidalraider
i keep having this error 75... and i think everyother error friggin possible.... ive tried restarting my computer, countless times reinstalling this program... and ive made sure its in my firewall ALLOW list and this program still refuses to run and im starting to become extremely dissatisfied. also i cant paste and put my debug thing in here so any help is appreciated before i just stop using swiftkit completely. thank you.. Marius
I would really prefer seeing the content of your debug.txt file, if you can't copy the content I will say there's a bigger issue with your computer than SwiftKit not running. Also did you consult http://kb.swiftkit.net/question-error-75.html ? RuneScape Treasure Trails
Suicidalraider
yes i have... ive done everything that has said... it just refuses to work entirely. the run menu comes up but this error and or other errors only seem to show up. swiftkit will not open at all. and i guess i can try to paste it once more... and maybe if it counts... when i press crtl+alt+delete.... it doesnt even show the [Caution: Executable File] running at all

Suicidalraider
i dont know how to take a screenshot without swiftkit... but i can type it for you 75 - path/file access errorcritical error while checking for updates. update process aborted, if this contunues please let us know on the forums. when you start swiftkit it wil spit out debug info to debug.txt in your swiftkit directory. (default C:/program files/ swiftkit) open debug.txt copy entire contents and paste them on the forums for the staff to help you. thats all it says... also i have windows 7 if that helps... and its on program files (x86)
L 0 L
On a side note, to take a screenshot without swiftkit, it's usually Ctrl+Print screen or FN+Print screen, and from there you can go into something such as Microsoft Paint and either right click 'Paste', File -> Paste, or on Windows 7, there's a paste button located at the very top left. Then 'save as' (file name) and you're done. :)
BryanTran
Eh, Ctrl + PrntScrn can only be used with an external program, like SnagIMG. It's also from the makers of SwiftKit, download it here:http://www.bluelightdev.com/projects/snagimg http://gplus.to/BryanTran
Stidor
Go to C:\ProgramData\ Delete the SwiftKit folder. This WILL delete all your profiles for SwiftKit though, so make a backup of the folder if you need to.

Stidor
Try uninstalling SwiftKit and then installing to a different location. So during the install, change the path to install to the folder SwiftKitt (two t's at the end)

Stidor
C:\Program Files (x86)\SwiftKit2 So during the install, just put an extra 2 on the end of the path it wants to install SwiftKit to. Otherwise: http://kb.swiftkit.net/question-remote-desktop-support.html
Stidor
Logged on with Suicidalraider using TeamViewer. Permissions on the C:\ProgramData\SwiftKit folder seemed to be all messed up. Renamed it to SwiftKit_OLD. Reinstalled SwiftKit. Copied across profile from the _OLD folder to the new SwiftKit\Profiles folder. Working fine now.
