I didn't get to see two of the cutscenes because my graphics settings were "too high"... while on medium.

 

Also, you get the axe and shield pretty quickly. I got them within 7 "kills".

Look again. Hollows 2487 and Hollows 24 87. See the difference? Jagex has already said that the player is banned by the time the appear in Botany Bay.

 

I don't think that's a real space between the 4 and 8. Sometimes the right-click menu gets off kilter for some people. But if it really was a space, I don't understand what adding a random space in the bot's name would really accomplish. Maybe they add random spaces in the names so it doesn't exactly match the username, to prevent some kinds of glitches?

I'm guessing you have to kill the shit beetles to get that stuff.

 

I really don't get why [hide=Spoilers]Lady Keli turned out to be Amascut. What about all the other Devourer related quests? Are they going to be retconned to fit in with Diamond in the Rough? Perhaps they already have, but alas, I cannot replay old quests. I hope the next in the series will let us finally see Menaphos. [bleep]ing cliffhangers.[/hide]

Go back to the place with an ass ton of dung kalphites and keep slashing them until the axe and sword are dropped. Shouldnt take long

[hide]It was just a way to set the Devourer up better (and the other desert goods too really, as well as setting Leela up at the Senit... temple palce properly opposed to her just re-appearing) and tie some pieces of the Desert plot together eg why the Scarabas guys gone after Soph etc. The only other quest that overtly features her thus far is Itchalrin's Little Helper where the wanderer turned out to be her and it was never really set up or explained; I mean by the red eye thing we all KNOW Sumona is her latest guise but in official lore our players haven't sussed that out. Not reall any retconing required aside from removing a couple of dialogues lines from Helper so instead being like hu the eff are you? We are like amg its you again![/hide]

I always love my quests, but I found these extraordinarily fantastic... Maybe it was just it put me in the mood to play/watch Prince of Persia and Assassins Creed, and the references to both. But still. Fantastic quests :D

The bot thing is fun for a few minutes. But since the person getting banned isn't actually there, the entertainment is pretty limited.

 

I stayed a little while on some worlds but bots wouldn't show up. They show up a lot on w2 though, for some reason.. Everyone keeps voting swallow >.>

Thinking about giving up on botany bay for now. Only place they seem to appear is world 2, and votes don't count there very often because of the large amount of people there.

 

The quests were amazing. Loved them both and the new styled cut scenes I very much look forward to seeing more of. Was very enjoyable and huge props to the makers of the quests. |^_^|

If I worked at jagex I would do something like this:

Person gets detected as a bot, and is lined up for a ban. They are logged out automatically and their play session is ended to prevent automatic log-in, assuming that's possible technically.

Next time they log in to check up on their bot, they are at bot bay getting banned. Or waiting for their turn in a cage at bot bay if someone else is already on trial.

Some bots log in automatically, but some don't. So at least some of the botters would actually be there.

And of course they should be given the ability to chat, so we can see their reactions.
