ffffffffff que the hoarding... i had better jump on the band-wagon, late as alwyas.... and what am i going to train...........

WHY DOESN'T JAGEX EVER EVER EVER EVER DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL.

They stick to their word, just indirectly, if they say they will do something, 100% of the time they will do the opposite.

Calm your jimmies and read the post again.

Re-thinking is the keyword.

"We have thought long and hard about bonus xp weekends. While they have been quite rewarding, there are some negatives. Taking this into account, we have prepared a new, rewarding event, Bonus XP Weekends! More news to follow as the event draws closer."

From the empty days of hope, deny the darkness
Follow my voice, we'll run far away from here

If only to hide, to escape this life
And live forever, forever in the sun

Watch for a run on the GE <.<

@Torstol, I believe the summoning multiplier is capped at 1.1x

They usually had a diff multiplier for summoning. Forgot what it was, like 1.2x or something

I would assume the cap still applies, but it's not stated if it is or not. So, I guess we can hope for confirmation.

How dare they give away free XP. [bleep]ing [wagon].. Wait, what are we complaining about?

Since they're doing it based around the new combat system, I wouldn't be surprised if the bonus XP is only applied to combat skills only, which would have the most minimal impact on the economy.

I don't see what's wrong with having an impact on the economy. The economy would be dead boring without it!

How dare they give away free XP. [bleep]ing [wagon].. Wait, what are we complaining about?

So for anyone keeping score:
1: Complain about bonus exp weekends.
2: Complain when bonus exp weekends are replaced with promotions like the mad may necklace and promissory note.
3: Complain when they announce a bonus exp weekend that's also available to F2P'ers.

Jagex's hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me.

You make it sound like running through a few level 87 monsters is hard which it really shouldn't be at your level.

I'll be done with 3 exams and have 1 to go by the time the event happens, so I guess thats a motivation to study beforehand. A shame I've already taken the weekend beforehand off.

Obviously they announce this the day after I sell off 100M worth of raw materials. Jagex always had the best timing.
Guess I'll spend the day crafting.

So why is everyone mad? Because you couldn't get your raw materials fast enough?

Get over yourselves. The game is a grindfest already. One bonus weekend won't do anything. You should be happy Jagex went against their word for once.

Finally, you don't have to PAY to get this bonus xp.
