The make x interface is changed.

 

Momentum works quite nicely. I find the abilities get old pretty fast in pvm. Going to try it out in dunge later.

 

 

I also have to laugh at fire giants, which now punch you with ranged damage (weak to slash), presumably using the "I'm not touching you" technique until you get annoyed enough to take damage.

Has anyone tested Penance's prayer restore rate? In the beta, it was still 20% -- with HP basically multiplied by 10 and prayer points staying as they were, I could restore my prayer from zero with a couple of hits from Corp. If it's still like that, prayer level and restoration is basically irrelevant.

 

EDIT: Could someone also confirm that dying in the wild lets you keep 3 items no matter what?

Slayer is a pain at the moment. Killing stuff with all the abilities, multicombat, familiars and cannons is simply too fast that you can't anyway get all out of it. Places are crowded and monsters spawn as slow as they always did. It's a "crashfest" at any slayer spot where everyone is trying to get a kill here and there against others. They need to either make monsters have more hp (and give more xp), or they seriously need to speed up the spawn rates.

 

I went to kill living rock creatures for example, with cannon and steel titan. It took me like 15 secs to clear the spot I was in (with 6-7 creatures around), and after that I had to wait for like another 30 seconds for them all to spawn... So basically I was spending more time waiting than killing. That's a big no no.

I'm actually worried that this has made the game too easy lol. Obviously they are going to be tweaking it over the coming months but when I can kill any monster in Temple trekking in one hit including level 230 Vyrewatch, it just seems unbalanced.

Not kidding either. I've always wanted to do some, but the game chews me up and spits me back out somehow.

 

Everything except the Snails seem to be weak to melee as well which just makes it that much more straightforward.

 

Also, to anyone that still hasn't maxed the two hard NPC's, I suggest you do it now. They are gaining 2 levels per trek even at level 70+.

Could you by chance explain what's keeping you from being logged out? :3

 

It actually keeps me from logging back in after I get stuck.

Its fixed now as a mod moved me to Lummy =3.

Well, I just lost my longbow sight thanks to trying to put it on a (newly f2p) magic longbow. It appears that the sighted magic longbow is still p2p. Hopefully they'll fix this soon, but I'm not holding my breath.

 

Also, while perhaps not a glitch or an oversight, gold trimmed blue dhide is still p2p even though blue dhide is f2p.

 

As much as I like the combat of EoC, this definitely was rushed out and has many oversights.

also enter to talk is [bleep]ing bull shit.

Bugs are to be expected with such huge changes. Give it a week.

 

Also enter to talk makes a lot of sense considering you can now bind letters into abilities. If you hide action bars, you can type without pressing enter.

Jagex have around 400 employees, of which less than 10% of those even worked on or tested the EoC on a daily basis. The live game has thousands of players logged in simultaneously, bugs will be missed no matter how much they play purely because they don't have enough people to test it.
