Sy_Accursed
Lol 45k votes in less than 4 hours. We have 2 weeks for this. Tomorrow is the weekend as well. You have to consider though vote rates will not be steady, in fact they even now are falling hour upon hour, give it 48-72 hours and they will probably be coming in quite slowly. Where is this ridiculous assumption coming from (generally, everywhere, not specifically in this thread) that some EoC players will come back because of this? Obviously some will, but the idea that simply because people who quit the game over EoC would for some reason want to play the retrograde 2007 version of RS seems silly to me. Not liking EoC does not mean you want to play RS 2007, it simply means you don't want to play EoC. Here's why those ridiculous assumptions are made: Those people who quit because of EoC went to play private servers. Of course they will come back for 2007scape. Still quite ridiculous:Quitting because of Eoc and 07scape are very different entities with a whole 5 years of content difference. Many who quit to private servers prefer them due to cheats. Many who quit did so due to lack of faith in Jagex, why would they come back? Many won't quit a free private server for a paid for 07scape.etc. Thats not to say none would come back, just the assumption that all of them or even the majority of them will is rather a stretch. Of course they will come back for 2007scape. They might have gone to private servers for pre-EoC, but not for RS2007. Do not conflate the two. In case you didn't notice, Pre-EoC and RS2007 have a 5-6 year period. Not liking EoC does NOT mean that you want to give up all the modern conveniences of RS (GE, "skill-x", a host of other things) to play some crappy underdeveloped (in comparison) version of RS. There's obviously some EoC quitters that do want to play RS2007, but they are by no means a majority.
Bubs
The number of players on era-specific private servers without boosted XP rates and other shortcuts shows how many players actually want "retro" servers.

HOW ARE YOU GETTING ALL THESE RIDICULOUS STATISTICS? You have to realize plenty of people simply moved to other games, or moved on with their lives. 1 LIVERPOOL WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON. You have to remember 2007 scape isnt the same game as 2012 scape which isn't the same game as EoC. Just because people don't like EoC does not mean they'll like 07scape, it is a VERY different game to modern rs in many respects. Boosted Xp rates and generally lots of free XP are very recent developments. Who's to say that these people don't want RS2010 instead? Not liking aspects of modern RS does not mean that people want to put up with the drudgery of RS2007.
Bubs
Old revision private servers (317s, 474s) have ALWAYS been the most popular, since private servers became a thing. Many people have been asking/wanting this kind of thing for a long time, not sure where you're getting the "nobody wants 07scape" idea but you're quite mistaken. EDIT: What I meant by boosted XP and shortcuts is everyone seems to think private servers are "Oh, you start at max combat and play with any gear you want!" and that's only true for a handful of these servers. Also, what is 317, 474?

It would be and interesting statistic to see where the data trends for age of accounts currently playing. Yoko Kurama
I think those numbers refer to revisions. Well, yes, I know that. I meant what versions specifically? What are their features? xpx
So, we have 50k, but how much more are we realistically going to get? to really be a separate game and have it work i think the 500k tier is needed, but i don't know if we are going to get there. Also, it's quite funny how jagex says ''well introduce system IF NEEDED''. Are they kidding? free trade died dec 07 because of botting, meaning we are going straight back to botting heaven. 2 First to 99 Farming on 27. September, 2005.First to 3766 Port Score on 20. JeRambo
Oh cool we can vote now. I voted yes. Really looking forward to playing the old game again, even if it means starting from scratch. I was never a member when I first started playing, so this will be cool. :). "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. Teddieh
We would need to average 2,2k votes/hour for the 14 days to get 750k. Been kinda steady 8,5k for the last few hours but declining slowly.
