What did you all do to get yourself started in this game so far? I started out by fishing, and cooking. And then just moving onto other resource skills. Basically anything that requires almost no money to train.I still haven't made much money, the most I've had is about 50k at one time, but I've gotten a total level of 625 so far just training a variety of skills. An old player from 2004-2011. Jaziek Posted March 2, 2013 Share Posted March 2, 2013 I've just been meandering about doing a bit of this and that, got about 100 quest points and ~700 total level, but I've finally set myself a goal being able to run barrows within the next week or so. So now I'm going to be powering towards 43 prayer 50 magic55 slayer38 herblore40 fishing - done40 cooking - done50 (or as high as I can be bothered with) for all other combat stats, including ranged. So I'm tackling slayer now. I can't be bothered to make my own runes, so I'm just levelling atk str and def while I get enough cash to bankroll my way up to 50 magic. At the moment I'm making mind runes, hopefully around 1k, which SHOULD get me to above 25 magic for Varrock teleport. Then I'm going hardcore slayer. Gosh I miss this feeling of having to plan out what I do, being nearly maxed gets boring. [hide]99 Strength 99 Fletching 99 Range 99 Hitpoints 99 Attack99 Dungeoneering <3 99 Magic 99 Smithing 99 Herblore 99 ThevingSlayer Drops: 14 whips, 22 D boots, 27 Granite Mauls, 42 Effigies, 5 Dark Bows. What would be cool is if Drakan and his minions kill all the sig heroes in the quest except Raptor who is wrecking. You and him team up and cave in some vampyre heads. PoorLepRecon Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I went straight to the stronghold of security, got my 10k, then did the Waterfall quest, got 30 atk/30 str from it, and from there just started leveling what I wanted/doing useful quests like fairy tale pt 1 and ghosts ahoy, among others. W aldo Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I started out with random things, like fishing/cooking for food, woodcutting for canoes, mining/smithing/crafting a bit.Then I worked on mining ess/runecrafting it/using the runes to get me 45 magic.
