Zerker who left when EoC hit looking for advice.

As the title states, I left when EoC hit due to the belief that it would ruin all the work I put into the account. I'm open to playing again but I kinda have no idea what to do. I can't even wear items that I worked pretty damn hard for etc. So what should I do. Preferably if some of you could give examples of what other zerkers have done and the like. The most obvious idea is just to get 50 def and roll with it, but I'd like to hear other options.

Those are my stats. I'm a fully quested (item wise) zerker who got all def through quests and all that in the most efficient way.

So yeah, help a brother out. Please don't just come in here and go 'GET DEF LULZ H4H4' though :P

Lol I just had to. You can always go to old school and make another zerker and have fun. :D EoC sucks! All about old school now. <3

As for EoC zerker, I wouldn't know a thing. Unless you can still use Fighter Torso, the best thing would be 50 def for rune. Unless!, you're comfortable with wearing addy and think you can sorta make it out alright, then stay 45!

As far as I can tell most pures & zerkers went 70 def for EoC, or they quit & went over to 07scape, got bored, came back and then made their old account a main instead.

Armor like torags is dirt cheap, and only slightly weaker than bandos. So... yeah lol.

Frankly, EoC isn't very kind to pures.

Actually, thinking about it now, most updates jagex has done haven't been very kind to pures. Forcing most people to get 50 defense back in the day and what not.

Get at least 80 attack for chaotics. There's no reason not to level it up, as your CB level is only your highest offensive stat+defence.

GET DEF LULZ H4H4

Srsly.

Anyway, you can max attack & strength now as the combat formula has changed - as well as summoning and prayer for that matter. The formula is something like def level + highest combat + 2 I believe, so you can have 99 attack, str, mage and range with 1 defence and thus have 102 combat. So its all slightly different.

Honestly no idea on the whole pvp thing, never my forte.

Also, welcome back :D

Basically, max atk/str/range/mage/hp/pray/summ. Of course pray/summ are not very crucial, but ok. If you keep def low, your combat level will stay low as well, no problem.

45 def won't allow you to wear rune but it is enough for void, which is good armour for PvM.

Dragon weapons have very low accuracy because weapon accuracy bonusus scale exponentially with level now. If you want to melee, get a chaotic (maul or main hand + off-hand). If you want to range, royal crossbow. For magic, chaotic staff. Low-risk alternative to chaotics are bgs/ss/zspear and staff of light/polypore.

EoC is the best Jagex ever made

more action, more fun

EDIT: one of the reasons i started playing runescape again after long break is EoC and PoP.

Well, I went and got 50 def. Made me feel a little dirty but hey [garden tool].

Anyway, could any of you inform me as to the best ways to train and what to train on/use for melee range and magic these days? I don't have a clue anymore to be honest.
