Endeavour
When I try to start up Swiftkit, I get the following error: Using these webpages:http://kb.swiftkit.n...-cancelled.htmlhttp://kb.swiftkit.n...all-errors.html I thought I'd install Fiddler and give it a try. With Fiddler running, when I try to load Swiftkit, Fiddler gives me the following error: Also, the FileVersion.ini file I should be looking for in the Fiddler list doesn't seem to show up: So, I went to my Firewall settings, because if the file doesn't show up it is supposed to be a Firewall error.I've added Swiftkit to my exceptions (Uitzonderingen is dutch for that) So I thought this would finally fix the problem. However, I still get the same error message. What else can I try to get rid of it? PS: I didn't use image tags because I got the error 'You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community'. Edited March 11, 2013 by Kaida23 Fixed the images. Kaida23
You have to add ".jpg" to the end of the image link to get puush images to display properly. ;) btw - welcome to TIF! :) Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero. THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P. So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually... Marius
Hi, Do you have any other firewall program installed, often we see this with people who are not aware that for example their Antivirus software comes bundles with it's own firewall. Endeavour
Sorry for the late response, I had to check this with my dad because I usually don't touch the antivirus and stuff so I'm pretty clueless about that. What I know my antivirus has, is this: I'm using AVG Anti-Virus Free. If it's of any help: Also, I don't have WIndows Defender anymore, when I start my computer, I get this error message: Which pretty much says it can't start WIndows Defender. Stidor
Do the patch notes load at all?
Endeavour
When I start Swiftkit, the first screen with Patch Notes loads fine: When I press play, the 'loading bar' gets stuck like this: And then I get the error message:
Stidor
Could you post us the log of the debug.txt file in your SwiftKit folder? Try the staff server. The password is sphex12 I think you have an issue with the CDN

Endeavour
After several other errors causing me to not download any patches, and eventually being unabel to load RS with Swiftkit OR my browser, I deinstalled Java 7 and it's all fixed. I don't see how Java is related to downloading Swiftkit patches, but it's finally solved :D
Stidor
Possible coincidence. However with the latest update you can Disable the CDN (click options menu on Launcher). That should fix your issues.
