Panna Millsy
Hey there, quick question. I'm in the middle of doing Desert Treasure, and i'm stuck on the battle with Fareed. I haven't done Heroes Quest (nor have the regs to start it), so i don't have access to the Ice Gloves, which means i can't wield my Master Wand, but i can't seem to cast a spell with nothing in my hands. Has this changed with EOC? If not, how do i cast without a wand/staff? If so, they've made that bit of DT complete cabbage if your meele stats are low. Sy_Accursed
You cant cast without a combat mage weapon now.You gotta get the gloves or punch him to death. Though have you actually tried to get the gloves, I know they are part of Heroes but I think you might be able to go the the Ice Queen regardless of quests. Panna Millsy
Ah, okay, i'll give it shot then. Cheers for clarifying that.
Squakus
You could also try running ahead of him, keeping at least 3 squares distance away at all times. As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapabale of solving approaches zero. Ensure you are not a social situation. Quyneax
You probably couldn't hit him without a wand equipped, even if you could cast spells, because of the way defence works now. I'm guessing Fareed has defence equal to t50-60 minimum, which is just really hard to hit without at least t50 weapons. Rinc3Wind
You could also try running ahead of him, keeping at least 3 squares distance away at all times. No need. He can go to Ice queen and get the gloves right now. You'll need 50 mining though.
