The issue, I believe is because magic damage is done completely differently from the ranged and melee damage.

They've changed that with the last combat update. It now works just like them. Spells are what ammo is to Ranged, and damage overall is calculated in the same way now.

But has it ever worked properly, even without modifiers?

What do you mean? If Magic ever worked properly?

Have the magic dmg boosts ever worked properly? They *hacked* the magic levels to enforce dmg boost by adding dmg per-level % (pre-eoc)

Magic spell's used as the ammo damage would work.. but this is Jagex. Based on the way bugs and images etc work, they don't reuse any code ever it appears >.>

Does anyone know how to confirm if the damage boosts work or not?

Does anyone know how to confirm if the damage boosts work or not?

ability crits

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).

Was anyone else hoping for Duel Tournaments to come back? I know they were a restricted-trade era thing, but I really enjoyed them.

I wasn't hoping for it, but now that you mention it, it'd be cool to have them back.

It would have been nice to get something more substantial out of this update, such as a necessary fix or bit of DA lore, and tournaments would be a pretty good update.

Only if you made your account after that one certain point. Unless I missed something and every F2P player has stake limits.

They all do unfortunately (this account is from like 05 I think, and a past member). 40k is such an arbitrary number, at least 100k would make sense while still being limited.

(btw, l2quote, I'm not sure what's with tif'ers and forgetting to press 'quote' haha)

Not going to bother quoting the post that is right above mine, although I can see it can be useful to get a notification when somebody replies to one of your posts.

I bought a few of the elemental scrimshaws, its supposed to 6.66% mage damage, and it does - checked on crits.
Skull of Vecna also significantly increased crit damage
Magic Might (10% mage prayer) also increased crit damage.

All 3 of these in unison decimated K'ril.

Skull of Vecna only boosts your magic level like a potion, right? Wouldn't extreme magic potions be better?
