Ammako
Zarosian forces wanted to bargain with Guthix. Then Sliske went "[bleep] this, [bleep] Zaros, lets become a god of my own", as far as I remember from TWW.
Ezkaton
But Armadyl forces wanted to kill Guthix too, so Zaros or Guthix is obviously the better choice. HELLO SLISKE SPEAKING, HOW ARE YOU TODAY? YES I'M FINE THANKS, JUST CHILLING WITH MY STAFF OF ARMADYL HAVING [spoiler alert] Yeah but Sliske is out for himself :P Pretty sure Drazzandra (yes intentional), and the other Zarosian's didn't really want Guthix to pop his cloggs. Him snuffing it without them being able to talk to him was quite possibly a regret they'll have now. Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.2672nd person to reach 2496 total. Thanks to Wicked for the awesome siggy :D
Hedgehog
The Zarosians didn't know that they wanted Guthix to die. After his death they recognize that he probably should have, and that Sliske had the most foresight and was the best mahjarrat.
Alg
Armadyl > Saradomin, no doubt. But Armadyl forces wanted to kill Guthix too, so Zaros or Guthix is obviously the better choice.TWW changed too many things. I was all for balance and protecting Guthix then, but now that the gods are coming back, might as well side with one that seems to be the only "good" one. Put simply, I don't trust Zaros and Guthix's 'no gods' stance, while well-intentioned, made things worse. I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
Quyneax
There's no trusting any of the gods right now, but Zaros has awesomesauce goodies :D. Zaros realizes that it takes more than a few cosmetic white armour pieces to buy adventurers such as ourselves, so we get curses and barrage. Zaros realizes that it takes more than a few cosmetic white armour pieces to buy adventurers such as ourselves, so we get curses and barrage. That, I call a reasonable price. The bit I found intriguing is that Osbourne said spellbooks/prayers for other gods are entirely viable and that normal mage and prayers are supposed to be Saradomin books since he is like the default faith of current times. I'd quite like to have a spell and prayer book for each god even if the content was predominantly the same with only a few tweaks in like the non-main stuff and cosmetics. Could even play with elemental affinities. Eg in Bandosian we've seen some geomancers so have an earth-only spell book that could be balanced with a Zamorakian fire book, Armadyl 'storm' book (aka air and water) Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue

SwreeTak
Armadyl > Saradomin, no doubt. But Armadyl forces wanted to kill Guthix too, so Zaros or Guthix is obviously the better choice. So why is it wrong to kill Guthix? Balance and fairness and bla bla bla. "Oh, look, that guy just killed that guy, so let's introduce a third guy who can kill the first guy. BALANCE IS RESTORED @@@!".And as mentioned in a previous post; Saradomin > Armadyl (And everyone else). Even though Armadyl actually isn't that bad after all. He's probably the best choice of the bad ones. Why? He loves order too. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

Quyneax
I do not like the idea of replacing non-combat spells along with combat spells. Switching ammo is fine, but don't ruin skilling/travelling with it. If more spellbooks get released, they'd better fix the whole farming vs. superheating vs. barraging issue. muggiwhplar
Kinda surprised they never bothered to rework lunars w/ EOC. Could've really made combat less mundane by making harder bosses which require someone to be a healer
Kimberly
I still don't think healers really have a place in runescape, but support magic would actually be neat to see as a viable role in group combat...
Sy_Accursed
I think we really need some beefier bosses before we can get proper support mages going. As in bosses that really really really cannot be done with less than 5 or so people, but then with the advent of support mages team sizes can be shaved down a bit.But then they'd likely need to build a better lootshare system for it to work out fairly too. At the very most I think jagex might consider support classes. If anything it would probably build on the assist system and some. They could do a concept based on symbiotic principles. Quyneax
It would not be difficult to expand the tradition 'tank' role to have some support features, such as providing a damage bonus to teammates at the cost of their own dps. 50% tank dps lost, and 50% fighter dps gained, is usually a great tradeoff (especially with 2+ fighters). You can also think of the 'voker' role which exists only since KK of course. If a voker can cast 'Freedom Other' at the tank, there's no need to do the whole shield switch thing, allowing vokers to use dw/2h, increasing overall dps. 1 Supporter of Zaros | Quest Cape owner since 22 may 2010 | No skills below 99 | Total level 2595 | Completionist Cape owner since 17th June 2013 | Suggestions 99 summoning (18th June 2011, previously untrimmed) | 99 farming (14th July 2011) | 99 prayer (8th September 2011) | 99 constitution (10th September 2011) | 99 dungeoneering (15th November 2011) 99 ranged (28th November 2011) | 99 attack, 99 defence, 99 strength (11th December 2011) | 99 slayer (18th December 2011) | 99 magic (22nd December 2011) | 99 construction (16th March 2012) 99 herblore (22nd March 2012) | 99 firemaking (26th March 2012) | 99 cooking (2nd July 2012) | 99 runecrafting (12th March 2012) | 99 crafting (26th August 2012) | 99 agility (19th November 2012) 99 woodcutting (22nd November 2012) | 99 fletching (31st December 2012) | 99 thieving (3rd January 2013) | 99 hunter (11th January 2013) | 99 mining (21st January 2013) | 99 fishing (21st January 2013) 99 smithing (21st January 2013) | 120 dungeoneering (17th June 2013) | 99 divination (24th November 2013) Tormented demon drops: twenty effigies, nine pairs of claws, two dragon armour slices and one elite clue | Dagannoth king drops: two dragon hatchets, two elite clues, one archer ring and one warrior ring Glacor drops: four pairs of ragefire boots, one pair of steadfast boots, six effigies, two hundred lots of Armadyl shards, three elite clues | Nex split: Torva boots | Kalphite King split: off-hand drygore mace 30/30 Shattered Heart statues completed | 16/16 Court Cases completed | 25/25 Choc Chimp Ices delivered | 500/500 Vyrewatch burned | 584/584 tasks completed | 4000/4000 chompies hunted
