Eh yeah, but it still isn't how it is supposed to work, because there's this 2/3-1/3 divine between main hand and off-hand. It could make sense if you designed it that way, but since it wasn't, it doesn't.

That makes zero sense, though.

How does a mainhand rapier provide accuracy when an off hand rapier provides strength?
Dito to main and off hand range weapons.

The main and off hand magic equivalents need to do the same thing that the main and off hand melee and range items do. Have their own, tiered accuracy and damage value

Except you were given a perfect reason for why magic could be calculated differently? You are trying to compare apples to oranges to bananas, it doesn't work like that.

TBH that is how I assumed they worked when dual wielding was still in its infancy. As people researched into the matter and found that it was not the case, I was a little shocked to be honest. Wasn't the whole point of the EoC to stop people from doing just this very thing to "cheat" the system, be it in levels or gear?

I'm sure there was a justification for it, I just can't really say it was easily spotted for me.

It's a good reason conceptually but it doesn't make a lot of sense following the other trends in equipment and how they function does it? Wouldn't that be why so many people didn't use offhand drygores because there were cheaper equivalents because it grabbed its accuracy from the mainhand, or something along those lines? (Please correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't been watching the whole dualwielding goofiness very closely.)

Something I noticed that does not seem to of been mentioned.

From the Vorago update faq posted on the 11th:
"This week is Vitalis week - minions are spawned to cause havoc.. unless you stop them from spawning in the first place!"

Has anyone actually discovered how to stop them spawning?

Vorago sends out these blue streaks and when they land they spawn vitalis that can't be walked through and hit hard. You can prevent them by standing on the spawn points.
