I'd have to agree that its junk. I find myself giving away the items needed for the crown becuase I don't want it lol. Not worth my time.

You can't actually get rid of these items (must always be traded in equal amounts) unless you die. If you die, you lose it permanently (does not drop).

It's a new rare that was added into RuneScape recently through Squeal of Fortune; other than the money you can make off the new crowns they are pretty much useless. They are pretty much just for show; as stated above.

Since it will be discontinued at some point, it will hold some value. However if it isn't as rare as true 'rares', it won't be very expensive.

Yeah, junk really sums it up... But to be honest, crowns are going for 23-25m on W1 and 2. So if you can get one for cheap on the GE or free on SoF you'll have a nice flip.

Reacting impulsively and saying what's on your mind feels oh so good.. for a little, until you realize you just started WWIII.

If you are in anyway into fashionscaping, I would advise to NEVER make the coronets into the crown, because the Coronets don't change look based on the season (unlike the crown, so you can't really control the look of it), and crowns look largely similar to the Coronet (the only major difference between that the Tiara part of the coronet goes around the back of your head as well rather than just the front). Lastly, you can always buy a crown, but you can't buy Coronets. AFAIK, Coronets do not disappear after the event, due to the coronets being reclaimable from Diango after being destroyed

I agree. I'd like to get the coronets (I'm half way to the Coronet of Spring which is the last one I need) and then just keep them all.

The crown can be bought after the event whereas the coronets can't even be traded so they're actually rarer really.

--- EDIT ---

Finally have all four coronets! After days of questing which at times was painfully boring... I've finally got all four.

I don't trust myself with all four in my inventory though. So pleased I've managed to get all four coronets, hooray!
