Toonix
I'm having a problem with my SwiftKit, its putting a message on my screen that says 'Resolving proxy...'.This appears in a small white box above the Internal Utilities panel.I don't think that I should be using a proxy to connect to Runescape, and I'm not using the mIRC utility; so i don't understand what the message is for. Stev
Click start, type inetcpl.cpl. Go to Connections > LAN Settings. What's checked/filled in?
Simmo
I believe you will find that the small white box is actually the chrome status bar and what it is showing you is runescape making a call to its server. similar to the one below this is nothing to be too worried about. if you can tell us what version of chrome you have installed we will see if there is a way to stop it from staying visible all the time. Stidor
I noticed this too but I think I've fixed it in the staff server updates. Can you enable the staff server in the Launcher and see if it fixed it? Password is ruckus13

Stev
Oh, that's right you've made it able to use Chrome. Ignore me in that case. :P.
Simmo
its showing you the javascript calls runescape makes in the background, its perfectly normal just that normal browsers hide this unless you specifically tell them to show it. This is normally indicated by a spinning wheel icon up on the tab. The download for example could be the runescape client requesting a new ad to display in which it would have to download the new content. Thats just an example of the numerous calls Runescape has to make to display the game.
Ancientmace
I'm having this problem as well and it is very annoying. I understand it is nothing serious, but the white box with the message "downloading proxy script..." is right over my chat tabs. Is there any way to get it to go away? Stidor
So you tried the staff server as suggested above right?
